I don’t see any connection between Zakaria and Zaniolo, this is Roma finding a alternative for Wijnaldum and we a spot for Paredes.

Btw you was so keen on us signing him in the winter, did he disappoint you that hard?

For me it’s another example of horrible squad planning. We sign players ‘for the coach’ and after a half season we’re ready to let him leave on loan. We’re talking about a loan let’s not forget that, not some amazing ~20m sell which would change the situation
The connection with Zaniolo is that Roma wanted Zakaria before we took him and we offered Zakaria in a swap plus money for Zaniolo, they rejected then. Now it is a different situation, we need another winger , they need a midfielder, they could be more open to it Idk

He did not disappoint me but he is way more fragile than I expected and inconsistent. I would keep him if we cannot get Zaniolo but I would understand why they do it even for just Paredes.

We do not know the details of a potential loan. Let's see

We have too many midfileders yet we sell the wrong guy.
Someone started Rabiot and further motivated him to say, what can you do.

Lots of talk about backup striker and Paredes or Rovella for regista (hardly matters and Paredes in was guaranteed), but if I've to watch Alex Sandro and that big hole at LB one more season...can't take this nomo. That's what the "journalists" and gurus should be focused on.

We won't let him go on a dry loan... Would we?

But we need space for Paredes who we've obviously identified as the regista. What do you want them to do if the unsellables won't budge...?

I don't want to lose Zakaria yet. Dry loan news is fiu for me.

You would think it'd be easier to get Rabiot and Arthur to leave in a world cup year. Make it clear there's no room and they'd be reserve and risk losing spot in WC squad, but instead we coddle them. Tad too professional.

tell the coach he can’t have his very dodgy transfer request and stick with what we have, grow a pair and sort the shit out. He can’t have his crap transfers.

Please somebody say that Milik rumor is false.
Football has been going towards speed and endurance at least the last 25 years. And what our management does? Buy fucking retards who can not run fast and/or can not play football for 90 minutes. This is ridiculous considering that we used to have players like Zambrotta, Thuram, Cannavaro, Davids, Di Livio, Conte, Jugovic, Marchisio, Vidal, Nedved even Zlatan made runs from opposite 16 to our 16 and back to opposite 16 in our time ( neva forget that match against Real. ) Those all were athletes. Our coach staff does not help but our squad is shit considering those beforements and Milik is just another shit who does not bring anything to this team. Why not give those minutes to like any 16 year old Juve youngster. That would at least make one person happy.

So we buy Kostic despite him not fitting our system (since we typically don't play 3-5-2), then we sell Zakaria because he doesn't fit our system. We target Depay at first and then move to Milik who is totally a different type of player. So it seems like we not only are too tactically rigid but don't have any real plan whatsoever to obtain players to fit our rigid system. We're fucked from top to bottom (no pun intended).
It's comedy hour out there both from the management and the coach.

Zak shoud be 4th in pecking order selling wise after Arthur rabiot and Mckennie.
Played out of position most of the time, why buy him if you don't intend to play him as a defensive midfielder?
So many incompetents running this club.
