Juve, for the past few days and with Pogba's injury, has been back to analyze Kostic's profile and (very soon) will make a final decision about whether or not to go for him. That’s why the player is taking time with his West Ham answer.

Juventus offered Dries Mertens a €5m contract but he refused. Juve have turned their attention to Filip Kostic: Frankfurt want €12m, the Bianconeri have opened at €10m. Cherubini is moving for the player. [GdS]
Theyve dropped their asking price from 18m to 12m? The bargain is there for the taking. We will be kicking ourselves if we dont get this done

if we don't hand the jackass a grand contract, I'm okay with bringing in Depay as an option upfront. we're extremely short on wingers right now and hopefully we can bring in another wide player if Depay comes for free
At the end of the day i wouldn’t mind him either if there is no better alternative and he comes on a free transfer but the thing is that aside from the fact he is injury prone and will demand high wages he also hasn’t really been an actual winger in the past years either but rather more of a CF/LF type which is also where he has excelled most and that is because he had freedom and did not need to put in the workrate and durability of a real winger, which i am not sure how will work out here unless we are planning to partner him next to Vlahovic as a LF/CF untill Chiesa is back and then primarily as a backup ST/CF, hopefully we still go for another real winger as we are with almost no cover at all on both flanks.

Last weeks of mercato will be important.

Let's see what we can get rid of, and let's hope we make some good deals.

The thing I like is that all the deadwood going out, Berna out is fantastic, De Sciglio staying is meh. Ramsey is gone. Arthur will probably leave even if it's a loan in the end, Rabiot rumours of Monaco, Rugani rumours of Galatasaray.

Brilliant, basically all players I want out, Kean I wanted out to but he could stay and get one season more. With players leaving I could see us going for another defender and a midfielder to. The icing on the cake would be a LB ( Udogie my prefered option) I forgot about Pellegrini, sell him to. Alex Sandro is shit but he will stay and can be a back up his last season.

The end of the mercato will be very intersting.
