Think about it:
Barca have Busquets, de Jong in that position and a shit load of financial problems, so they'll be desperate to loan him out for even a portion of his salary, meaning we can get him on a decent salary like 3-4m. With foreign player rules thats MDS level salary gross and 0 transfer fee.

Unless theres some big injury problem we dont know about, Id be intrigued to see what he can muster up if given one last shot at top footie. Not all signings like this will work out the same as Pirlo in 2011, but the potential that it might combined with the low cost alone is worth it to me.

Not sure that's the case for someone who's only gone for 2 seasons now. Still don't want him. He was already declining 2 years ago...

Barca would rather sell De Jong because of the income. Then make that happen and gift them Arthur on a free loan with option for all I care. I'm sure we could make a postponed payment construction for him...

2 years abroad is enough.

de Jong is so far out of reach financially its not even funny. Itd be a more expensive operation than Vlahovic

It's always possible IF all three parties want it. Vlahovic was deemed impossible too.

It won't happen but he's the perfect addition for me. If the option is Pjanic, just don't add anything and play Rovella and Fagioli.

De Jong could have maybe been an option if MDL was still here and happy to be here.
Doubt de Jong has any interest in getting here atm

The season starts in two weeks. Do we even have a starting 11?

so many question marks, only a few spots are certain.

???? Vlahovic Di maria
???? Locatelli* ????
????? Bremer ????! Danilo
Tek

*not even sure locatelli will play that position
If I had to guess:

Cuadrado Vlahovic Di maria
McNuggets Locatelli Zakaria
Alex Sandro Bremer Bonnucci Danilo
Tek

Not saying this is what I want, just that it is most likely if no other signings are made. We roll with this and hope to survive while we wait for reinforcements in Pogba and Chiesa.

I swear tabloid journalists read this forum. I mentioned Pjanic out of nowhere as a joke two days ago, and now the press says it for real. Turns out Massimo Di Culo was Tuz as a whole all along

It’s quite possible indeed, noticed some other similar instances in the past as well, however on this particular one i’m assuming that most of them have seen the images of Pjanic visiting and chatting with his old Juventus teammates before the Barcelona game and then also having a somewhat decent performance against us so they went on with linking him to us by assuming that we are probably looking for a new CM and that Pjanic is likely being forced out and also looking for a team.

Speculations at it’s finest, but one that is not far from the realms of possibilities either.

Kostic and Zaniolo and close mercato. No Benign Bosnian and no Parepiss please - I'd rather bring in Thanawat Suengchitthawn if that's the case.

How about Rabiot as LM

Fagiot should be cleaning toilets, not starting games. He shouldn't even be in the stands. I hope Monaco qualify for the CL and he fucks off back to where he belongs.
