The reason we haven’t got Morata back yet is because Atletico don’t want any more loans, only outright sale. It seems Chelsea would be happy with loan + obligation, probably similar to the Cuadrado deal back in 2016.

Remember this is a guy who scored 25 goals in the Bundesliga two seasons ago. He’s not trash. Just didn’t work out at Chelsea. I think he’s the type of hardworking player we’ve always got the best out of.

This Werner guy is weird. Looked like a world beater and future top3 striker in the world in Germany. But from the very little I've seen him in Chelsea (maybe 2 games in the past years), I found him horrid. No creativity, no flair, no punch, no confidence. Doesn't work on 1vs1, only in counters.

Replaced Dybala with Di Maria, De Ligt with Bremer, added an injury riddled Pogba. Lost a useful squad player in Morata. It's probably worse right now. But they will sign a LW (or sort of) to replace him.

Defense is still horrid, and midfield lacking talent and personality.
