lol. Pogba and Bentancur say otherwise.
Rugani got endless chances to prove himself. Bobby P in 14-15. Pellegrini this year. Kean as 16-17 year old. Morty and Dybala as 21 year olds. Cancelo in 18-19. Fucking Zaza even.

The better question is who are the young top talents he didn’t give a chance to? Coman is the only one who comes to mind. And he was 18 with zero top flight experience in any league coming into a squad that fought for a treble that year.

We just didn’t have many worthwhile young players in his time here. We shall get a much better idea of how he does with talenteyoung players this year. I’ll disappointed if at least one of Fagioli/Rovella/Miretti doesn’t get 1000-1500 minutes. Hopefully we keep two of them and a second one gets in the 700-1000 minute range. Gatti too, should be given significant playing time.

No. Rusty Doris is so overrated, as is that other shitcunt Retardi.
As a rotation piece on low wages, he is the exact type we should be going for. 22 years old, showed good improvement this season. He has a floor as decent rotation piece who will be on low wages, and has some upside to improve and become something more. We aren’t going to have a bench full of expensive star players. We aren’t PSG or Man City.

If transfer fees are similar, give me Raspadori over Morata. Perhaps even Kostic. He will be on half the wages of those two and can still get better.

Kostic and Zaniolo for me.

Zaniolo requires a 40-50 mil transfer fee and 5 mil net wages. I’d love to get him, but that’s not a backup/rotation piece. It’s definitely a big gamble even if I’m a big fan of his.

Kostic will be on starter level wages and is 30 in November. He’s probably not a bench player transfer either.

Sell/loan Arthur, terminate Ramsey, Sell Rabiot.

Sign LB (loan) - loan a reliable veteran LB until next season
Sign Milenkovic -15-20 mil
Sign Belotti (better than Arnautovic) - free transfer
Use Soule more

Go for a winger if needed In January.
So you are happy to with pogba locatelli Zakaria mckennie fagioli rovella miretti? I think this midfield needs one world class player still. Good at tackling and passing.

I kinda see now why Allegri wants Paredes. He had a 75% success rate on ground duels won and was 85th percentile in progressive passes and 99th percentile in passes attempted and pass completion percentage.

My issue is Rovella showed to be much better in the offensive phase of the game (his xA, dribbling, and shot creating actions were significantly higher) and showed to be capable defensively as well as he was clear in pressures, tackles, and interceptions. Wasn't as successful on duels though. But still, hes cheaper and is super young so he can still get better.

Seems like a waste of money tbh. I'd rather spend that money on fullbacks.

Double check you're comparing Paredes to other midfielders and not fullbacks.

Parades has great technique and always has. If people pretend he can't hit a ball, they're lying. But I agree that Rovella is worth a shot instead.

i remember discussing wether to get him or De Paul about a year ago maybe more, and there wasnt nearly as much criticism
of him as it is here now. That said, i wanted De Paul much more. The only benefit from having Paredes is his passing and ball controll which is quite good tbh.

Not sure how he would fit our squad tho and he will also give @Bianconero81 a potential heart attack so im hoping we go for someone else.

Paredes has always been kinda underrated, especially on here. I remember wanting him a couple years ago, before he left Italy. Now I'm not as enthusiastic about his potential arrival, but that has more to do with what they already have on the roster.

Understandable. My problem with him is he is very one dimensional. Id rather we go for a SMS/De Paul or hybrid type of player

I'm American and I'm naturally a hoarder of natural resources and an asshole, but what are your (non-American) opinions on McKennie? He was a Bundesliga Golden Boy to watch preseason in 2018 and one of the shining stars in a rotting Schalke team.
I like Mckennie and he plays with his heart. But you can clearly see he is American, no offense. Lacks that touch/understanding. He might improve a lot, but i kinda doubt it. I think he is useful, ill leave it at that.
