I think that is the most likely scenario. The management (for somewhat reason) really hurried with the sale of de Ligt. I guess they are feeling they have a real chance to sign Bremer, so that is okay. Other one could be to sign Zaniolo ASAP, because the season starts in 3.5 weeks, so this way Allegri should have a full squad to train together for a few weeks and he could have no excuses if we will not start the season as should.
However, overall I am not sure that the squad is much better... Pogba and Di Maria OK, both starters but Angel is on 1y contract. We replace MdL and have Bonucci, Gatti and Rugani...not a quality name list... We only have one fullback who under 30y old. Morata would be Vlahovic's sub, Chiesa will be healthy maybe in September, Zaniolo mehh...

MID: Arthur, Ramsey still on the roster, only improvement is Pogba... Miretti is the usual below average Italian MID who is overrated.
