I was ok with Dybala leaving, and still am, if we get someone with the right profile to replace him. My concern was not Dybala leaving but who was/is going to replace him. Yes, I do have a soft spot for Dybala, so there's obviously some subjective bias involved.

If we bring in someone like Gabriel Jesus, you won't hear me complaining, but those 2nd rate rejects don't inspire confidence.

Kostic for 15 million and 3 million in wages on a 3 year contract is a solid deal. You won't hear me complaining about that.

Also, you ignore the fact that renewing Dybala wouldn't have involved transfer fees, but it doesn't matter anymore. He's gone, and we must look ahead.
We won't get direct replacement. Our replacement for Dybala are all the players for the actual 433, meaning, Vlahovic, who took part of his new salary, Pogba now plus one winger. IMO this is a good trade. The best case scenario would be getting Di Maria and Kostic though.
But what is the most worrying is lack of news on that Lb department, where we are completely out of quality.

We have 2 clear LBs and 2 eclectic back-up options. One must surely leave first...

we already wasted a month for a washed up di maria.
It's clear that he is Allegri's No1 priority and Pogba and their signing settled, club can move on to working on sales and other arrivals.
They won't sign anybody till no one left from midfield or left side and I guess they are OK with current central defenders.

Those are big money deals and probably set a long time ago, which is why they're done so early. We're having to battle for undecided players like Di Maria and while I'm happy that Pogba is coming, nobody else wanted him.

Also, teams like Spurs can buy immediately then can worry about getting rid of their trash. We have to be sure to get rid of trash before moving on the market. Our management doesn't have it easy especially with having to deal with expensive trash like Ramsey/Arthur/Kean.

Realistically, I'm not expecting a revamp but at the very least, we need to give Allegri options because it was the main reason we were trash last year, not having cover for Chiesa and Dybala. For that reason I'd be ok with Raspadori, Rovella, Fagioli etc. instead of star signings.

Carvalho and Ramsay lol.

Yeah its not like Juve fans are dreaming about Fulham/championship players, or even worse, Aberdeen/Scottish pub league players.

Even if both kids are quite talented.

If we want to sign cheap young talents like those, we can easily do it today. But that's not what the club, or the fans are after. We aren't even sure if we have room for those we have in Fagioli/Rovella/Miretti.

I guess the EPL champions are nobody.
