Well Dybala is pretty much the opposite of that but you wanted him to stay for the occasional hint of talent he decided to display from time to time… but a 28 yr old berardi that has been one of the leagues most consistent player you avoid like the plague.

I was ok with Dybala leaving, and still am, if we get someone with the right profile to replace him. My concern was not Dybala leaving but who was/is going to replace him. Yes, I do have a soft spot for Dybala, so there's obviously some subjective bias involved.
If we bring in someone like Gabriel Jesus, you won't hear me complaining, but those 2nd rate rejects don't inspire confidence.
Kostic for 15 million and 3 million in wages on a 3 year contract is a solid deal. You won't hear me complaining about that.
Also, you ignore the fact that renewing Dybala wouldn't have involved transfer fees, but it doesn't matter anymore. He's gone, and we must look ahead.
