Is this week finally the #PogBACK official announcement week?

Also based on reports i also think that by the end of this week we will know for sure if Di Maria will really happen or not, hopefully the sooner the better.

Also the lack of any consistent rumors regarding CB's coming in might mean that there is really something in the mix regarding the supposed Koulibaly talks, De Ligt's contract renewal(?) and Demiral returning to be sold/traded somewhere else, maybe we are waiting on a potential domino effect to trigger.

MDL can leave as far as Im concerened. If we get the proper amount we could replace him with Koulibaly and have money to give him a good partner/add a midfield partner to Pogba and Locatelli...

I like MDL like most of you but he is clearly overrated.. He definitely isnt worth 100M...

If there is someone crazy enough to pay 100m for MDL we can use that money to sign 2/3 of Bremer/Koulibaly/Pau Torres and still have some left over in addition to any budget we have now.

After the back to back 4th place finishes we had i think by this stage the club would be ready to seriously consider accepting anything above €70-80M if it means they can then go on and get a Koulibaly and still have enough left to invest in another promising CB or to patch up other positions while we are at it...

No doubt De Ligt is still a promising prospect and far from being the finished product yet but he is also clearly overpaid right now compared to his performances on the pitch, the fact he does not seem to be fully commited to the project(not much to blame here given the instability of the club lately) could be a good enough reason to move him on and balance the wage structure along with starting to fully rebuild the squad from now rather than wait another season or two for the same inevitable to happen.

skip Di Maria. This form of contract is an insult to us.
It depends..
Di Maria is not a long term fix and both sides know it.
Di Maria is a professional so Im sure he`d give it his all before leaving (as he also wants to be ready for the WC).

I dont think its an insult but more of a temporary fix and considering how many fixes we need it is only normal that some of the fixes would be cheap short term solutions.
LB CB RB CM CM LW and a sub CF for Vlahovic. This isnt exactly an easy mercato.
LB - Udogie - They talk about him as he will stay another year at Udinese so I guess its Molina alone.
CB - Koulibaly - If the Demiral rumors are true - We have an opportunity.
RB - Molina has been mentioned
CM - Pogba
CM - To be determined
LW/RW - Di Maria Berardi and Kostic are the ones mentioned
CF - We seemed interested in G.Jesus (highly unlikely), Milik - never ending saga.. and Muriel (hopefully)

Money is not endless..

Why are we pushing for Molina while we have Danilo and Cuadrado as a RB? Maybe Danilo could be the LB...?
I agree it makes no sense. We are in dire need of a good LB because at the moment we have none. Cuadrado and Danilo are more than sufficient for that RB role, at least until next season.

Also am reading that Inter have agreements for both Bremer and Bellanova...

am I the only one who'd rather focus on midfield and on a winger (beside Di Maria)?? rather than splurge on a LB?
Let's focus on getting people for midfield like Milinkovic and Frattesi before a replacement for Alex Sandro..
And a center back. We're getting rid of at least two midfielders after a season has ended in a midfield crisis. Just buying Pogba and bringing in Fagioli isn't going to do. We already have two left backs other than Alex Sandro. Pellegrini is a prospect in my view and a spare center back would be better cover for the left back role than vice versa.

We need another first choice midfielder in the squad as well as Pogba. And, christ, I think we probably need two first choice center backs. It's a huge task. Spending 20M+ seems like a misallocation of funding.
