It makes sense, MDS is a squad player according to our level, mediocrity… if we try to be a good team at least, he’s nothing to do here any longer

This season he was performing above his level and it looks like a reliable player for a couple of months and then, he came back to his old underperforming level
sounds like most backups. If they were consistent they’d be starting lol.

Why do we never get linked with Verratti? I know we can't offer him a gig playing with Neymar and Messi and all of that, but he can come and play for his boyhood club. And I reckon he'd cost around the same as Milinkovic Savic and is only two years older.

I still think we should have offered PSG a swap for Pogba/Verratti instead of taking the 100m from Man Utd.

Plus I'm still sour we missed out on him at Pescara. But I guess we had Pirlo so he wouldn't have had all that game time.
I'd take SMS over Veratti 99 times out of 100. SMS is a professional - Verratti is a talented injury prone koala vulture midget hybrid who's content in his Golden Cage in Paris. I doubt he possesses that hunger, that 'Eye of The Tiger" anymore. He's also, as you rightly pointed out, two years older than SMS, and considering his lifestyle (smoking too), the Serb is the clear winner. If this were a fight, SMS would win by TKO in the 9th.

Cuads is one of the most dependable and affable players on this squad. At a time when we're looking for experience and people who understand the value of the shirt, it would be downright detrimental and ridiculously retarded to show him the door.

ℹ️ From what was gathered, the #DiMaria and #Zaniolo deals are not linked to each other. There is no plan B to #Di Maria, who is a great mercato opportunity.

So you just said yourself we were linked to him while he was at pescara

Public shaming aside, I still maintain Italy looks better with Locatelli than Verratti, and that's all you need to know.

'POGBA: “I'M ON MY WAY”'

Il ‘Polpo’ is calling his Turin: many phone calls with his friends in the city to pre-announce his return to #Juve. #DiMaría, #Koulibaly and the dream #GabrielJesus to complete the mercato.

This is like the fat ugly kid asking the hottest girl to the prom.

Zaniolo too risky, berardi capable but no world beater. Happy to take kostic for the left, while chiesa recovers.

If we end up with kostic and di maria, with chiesa coming back and Cuadrado...it gives us adequate cover. Clearly we will need to think about younger wingers in the following transfer windows.
zaniolo is more central attack midfield or central field. he is not a right wing IMO. before buying chiesa, i thought he is average but in juve and the euro everyone saw his greatness. I hope zaniolo has a similar experience.

Couldn't agree more.

Maybe used to but haven't been the same after injury while Lorenzo has turned in to a monster; to me maybe the most underrated Italian player atm
Pellegrini is what he is and won't get any better, on the contrary... Zaniolo is still miles off his ceiling. The question is whether he'll ever reaches it.

And yes, it takes time, usually anfull season, to get back to your best after an ACL. So not having seen 'the same' is only normal at this point.

Got ur point there..Still can't say "he is what he is and won't get better" since he has improved every year.
Zaniolo will and should improve but to really generalize I see him as diva with talent while Lorenzo is clearly a real footballer and a team player with some great vision and work ethics.

Central defender chapter: Juventus will certainly have to fill the place left by Giorgio Chiellini. In recent days Acerbi was proposed by his prosecutor to the Juventus court, which was then declined. Juventus has stronger profiles. [Romeo Agresti - YouTube]

In the next days a summit is expected at the Continassa between #Juventus and the entourage of Nicolò #Fagioli, maybe not a decisive but a fundamental one to plan the future of the player. At the moment, the most accredited projections lead towards a contract till 2026 but mostly staying with the bianconeri, in the available squad of Max #Allegri. Alternatively, the midfielder could be loaned for another year. #Cremonese have already informed that they would like to keep him. #Atalanta and #Empoli are on his trail, whereas other clubs are monitoring. But at the moment, #Juve's idea seems to be aligned with the player's and his entourage: after #Chiesa and #Locatelli, it could be #Fagioli the new piece to help with the rejuvenation process that the club put in place for some time.
