From Bad Alex Sandro to this guy. Some may say it's an improvement, and to be frank I don't see it. I'd rather we continue with pellegrini.
ur talking about Kostic? he probably is not replacement for Sandro, its for the LM/LW spot. It does makes some sense to put him near Pogba, as he knows how to defend and we know Paul needs that extra assist in defence. In this case Sandro could probably play as a LCB more than LB, so this would be another hybrid system 352 or something like that:
In attack
Szczesny
De Ligt Bonucci Sandro
Cuads Zakaria Locatelli Pogba Kostic
Chiesa Vlaho

In defence:
Szczesny
Cuads De Ligt Bonucci Sandro
Chiesa Zakaria Locatelli Pogba Kostic
Vlaho

In this case a guy like Raspadori or Zaniolo makes some sense too.

Filip Kostic is close according to Sky Germany. Anyone watch Bundesliga or any Serbs who can tell more about him? Good transfer?

Great speed, great technique, helps a lot in defensive tasks as well (Allegri aproves lol). His decision making was/is at times a little questionable, but he improved on that recently as well. Versatile in terms of positions (he can basically cover the entire left side of the pitch). Not a Dusan Tadic caliber of player but definitely a huge upgrade in squad rotation compared to Bernardeschi.

If only Nemanja Radonjic had his (Kostic's) work ethic he would be an amazing player as well.

Definitely great as a wingback doesn't have dribbling ability to be a good winger.

Tadic isn’t that great either, bar his 18/19 performances in CL.

Tadic is a good player. For sure not a world-class, but in terms of quality and what he brings to the game he makes a difference quite often. Sure, that 2018-19 is his most memorable season and especially that game at the Bernabeu, but he's been consistent ever since both for Ajax and our national team.

If he's used in a good system and allowed to have some freedom/control over how he plays, he produces good and consistent performances.

I was solely comparing him and Kostic; Tadic is for sure a level above. But on the other hand, they don't play in the same position either.
Anyway, if Filip comes in I think he will be a good rotational player for us. Someone that can understand and provide good quality balls from the flank for Dusan.

We're targeting the wrong Serb, but he does seem solid tbh. Allegri is probably getting a hard-on thinking how he can deploy Kostic as his new Mandzukic. He sure loves them defensive forwards.

Are we still interested in Jovetic? Since we're bringing back Pogba, and targeting Di Maria, here's another ghost from Juventus past we can revisit.
