but their contracts only expires usually on the 31st of May/ June 1st, since the 1st of January they are just open to negotiate with other clubs and reach pre-agreements , officially they can only sign from June 1st onwards when they actually become free agents and in majority of cases they only get confirmed officially by the clubs around that time… which seems to be exactly what we are doing with at least Pogba right now.
True, most only get officialy revealed later on but that shouldn't be the case. They can put pen to paper before. The season hasn't even fully ended yet, I guess we'll know soon enough.

Yup, we’ll probably see some more concrete news soon enough, likely from June 1st onwards, or even some official announcements altogether around then.

Context he:

Surviving by a point with Vicenza
Promotion and becoming best young player in the same competition

Btw rectify the ‘our’ part in the quote please
So because Fagioli had a better season in the same lower-level competition he can send public messages to management?

It means absolutely nothing. Ranocchia is very talented too and has real chances to play for us in the future. Words mean little, he's shown it more with his actions last summer during the training camp and now with the renewal. Fagioli had a chance to prove himself last summer, he was late for training/games. He has a chance now to prove his love for the club by signing a new contract and at worst playing 3000 minutes on loan in Seria A somewhere. Which is always better for him because he won't get even a 1000 next season for us with Pogba here.

I saw a quote in English with 'our' in there, don't feel like digging. Either way, he was sending a clear message. 'The project is...' What project? If the project is set why do you need to sit down and talk with management? It's clear he's talking about their ideas, nothing to do with management, and thus sending them a public message.

You’re literally a Kean and Zaniolo fan, so where did you was when they weren’t allowed to play during the Euro’s U21 when they arrived a minute to late? Really cheap to use this as a argument so strengthen your point.

Did you think about the possibility of his agent just spoiler the situation regarding his future?

But what is with you constantly bringing other people into the conversation? Using me liking a player against me while arguing in favor of someone you're clearly a fan of? Irony?

It has nothing to do with anything. I wasn't on social media and forums defending them and demanding they play or I didn't hear their agents demanding something from the Italian FA after that.

I keep bringing it up because Fagioli is now demanding something in public while when he had a chance to prove himself instead of being an hour early he was late. That is a fact.

And I again said I want Fagioli in the team next season, I don't hold that against him forever, but if you want to talk publicly then have something to back it up. Simple.

If you like a player you don't have to defend him in everything. He's clearly going about this the wrong way.

Think it's clear we all want the Fagioli situation to resolve itself but his agent surely can't be suggesting that he either plays for Juve or he leaves, after a great season in Serie B lol. That isn't what he is saying, is it? The club can't give in to those type of demands, if true.

It's just modern football, he probably has loads of interest, only the will of the player can sway it.

It’s IlCapitano making it bigger than it is, mistranslating a simple sentence

As said he says: the project is to keep him with the first team, soon we’ll meet.

Ive been following the situation and in my opinion they’re just very clear that he loves to sign another contract with us, but I guess if you look to it from a different perspective you’ll start to think that they’re blackmailing the board. Oh yea and let’s not forget he arrived to late a year ago!

Coreect me if i’m wrong but i think free agents can only sign and be announced officially after June 1st, i’d say that if still nothing is announced whitin the first couple of weeks in June then maybe we could worry a bit, but now its still way too early.
No you can definitely announce. Villa have announced Kamara and Dortmund have announced Sule:

https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2022/may/23/villa-announce-boubacar-kamara-signing/

We just seem to be biding our time, which is fine as long as it happens. We have a shitload of business to do this summer and I don’t want it left until last minute as that results in panic deals like Kean. Now we have Arnautovic links, a 33 year old semi retired footballer with 1 good season behind him. Get Amauri back at this rate

I support the decision to spend as little possible for Vlahovic's sub. Preferably a free transfer of someone who won't cost us much in wages and who won't mind at all to sit on the bench all the time. Yes, a risk exists that an injury of the main striker could be very costly, but that is the risk Bayern took, for example, and I can think of other big teams who have used only one striker for like 90-95% of the time. Vlahovic hasn't had a single injury in his career so far, so we're betting on that.
What is important, though, is the attacking wingers to score and assist a lot, as well as the midfielders, so we need all our resources to improve these positions.
