Not getting the prized jewel of a guy who hates our guts is mercato failure? Get a grip bro
He hates our guts, but he has to sell. SMS has an expiring contract (2024), and this summer represents the best opportunity to get something for him. It also seems that SMS does not wish to leave Italy, unless it's for Real or Barca, and I don't see Madrid going in for him and Barca can't afford him and probably don't need him anyway, unless they sell De Jong (they still have Pedri, Gavi and that disgusting play actor). I doubt SMS wants to go to PSG, so they can have Pogba instead.

Mercato failure is hyperbolic I suppose, but with the names we're being linked to, I honestly don't know. I'm not really optimistic, and with some of the names floating around, it's going to be hard for me to support a team where I dislike 80% of the players.

Tuz, you keep surprising me, people legit crying about losing an insanely terrible Rugani fot a quite good Acerbi, this place is like the twilight zone :haha::haha::haha:

Rugani is a walking liability, and was benched in even Rennes and Cagliari. Acerbi despite his age is considerably superior defender. Short term upgrade for the depth.

I rather sign Bremer, Laxroic and the likes, but if option is keep Rugani or get Acerbi for him, its a no brainer imo.

The Acerbi rumor is interesting. So I guess him and Gatti replace Chiellini and Rugani? We'd still need to replace Acerbi after a little while but should be good enough provided we can then spend the money elsewhere.

Although, this has been said quite a bit about the names we're linked with now...

Yeah its kinda amusing rumours so far considering our focus of last 2 seasons of signing early 20s players.

We are rumoured to sign 34 year old right winger, 33 year old left winger, 34 year old CB. The youngest target being 29 year old who wants another vacation here.

Don't forget the 30 going on 31 year old one dimensional penalty choking leprechaun.

Id replace rugani even with b81 or badass

You think that baldhead can do better?:eek::eek::eek::baus::baus::baus:
It depends on how much they pay me. For 3+ million a year, I'm sure I can learn to do better, but I am 41 now, so it's too late for me.

Also, I am not bald FFS! I shaved for that pic. I have a full head of hair.

Perfectly fine with the switch but Acerbi is not 'quite good'. He's mediocre at best.

Nah. He's a level above mediocre - he's decent. He's not in the jabroni mould, but he's not an excellent player either.

GDS is claiming Juve wants Pogba AND Jorginho. I kinda buy it because they’re also connected to Paredes. Seems they want an experienced regista. That’s not good news for Rovella though.
Terrible news. Another team's undesirable/reject with potentially no resale value on 6-7 million wages. Management gonna manage.

Easily. Not sure Acerbi would be coming in as 3rd or 4th but I do know that Rugani is not good enough to 3rd or 4th choice CB. He's simply not good enough to be a Juventus player in any capacity and he should be disposed of.

Also, not convinced Gatti will be a part of the team next season. Allegedly he is having monster season but that is Serie B. His first season in Serie B. Is he really trusted to move straight into the squad or did they buy him midseason to flip in the summer?

Could be Acerbi is not the only CB signed this summer.
