Would be incredibly disappointing. Given how Bonucci has declined on a physical level, there would likely be long stretches next season with Rugani as a starter. God forbid we don't see that.

I hope we postpone De Ligt's sale by atleast another season, otherwise the defense will be our new problem area. Besides the new incoming CB will have one solid season under his belt so losing De Ligt next year would be less damaging as opposed to this summer.

The reality is we can not reach that bar in every position of need. Plus there are no real quality LBs for the taking either imo.
And no, I don't consider Rabiot an upgrade over Matuidi who was a good soldier for us.

I'd rather invest big in our biggest problem area: midfield. Just my 2 cents. I won't be complaining if we get Emerson, Jorginho, Pogba/Gravenberch for instance...

I'll disagree. He has been good at holding the ball but it starts and ends there imo . That position should be filled in by someone who's either a defensive powerhouse or someone who can spread play and speed it up.

But selling depends on the price ofc.

Rudiger would be a great signing. Speaks italian, knows the league, has massively improved playing in the PL, that’s a no brainier for me. To sign a player of his quality that is in contract would cost us 50m as a minimum.

CM is the real problem area, only Loca is good enough to start for Juventus. Zak will be an ok back up. Jorginho if available would be a quality signing, rovella and Fagioli should stick around. We need 2 signings in that area though.

We shouldn’t buy Kean as he’s not shown any promise, Morata we should sign if we can get him for around 20m. Dybala we should only renew on our terms. It leaves us short up front. Berardi would be interesting as he looks like he’s ready to leave now, Dembele on a free is an option for the wings

This is going to be the most important window in a long long time, make or break
