Even worse, he turns 29 in a month. Pogba has all the makings of a Ramsey type signing. A player who was good 4-5 years before we get him, has sucked at club level for multiple years, only performs for NT, is super injury prone in recent years. Except Pogba would want double Ramsey’s wages and has been performing even worse than Ramsey had been when we signed him.

Could he turn things around and give 3-4 more years of top class football? Sure. Stranger things have happened. But he looks absolutely finished as a top player in club football and it would likely be another disaster signing.
Absolutely, steer well clear of Pogba, we’ve had our moment in the sun with him and I loved him as a Juve player but he has declined majorly since then and seems to be a negative influence at Man U. His fat agent would demand a huge sign on fee and we’d have to exceed our salary limit to get him here. All for a player that has played about 20% of utds games over the last 2 years.

Would rather we focus on younger, promising players

regardless of this analogy, i'd take a giulia over a similarly equipped a4 any day.
I just live in the part of Europe where the roads aren't suited for the delicate Alfa Romeos, they end up in service constantly around here, I guess it's better where you live. :D alfa's definitely are beautifully designed and fun cars to drive though, no argument there.

where do you live? i bet roads aren't worse than the hungarian network. also, since this pandemic started, i did like 16k km in almost 2 years. that's less than my normal yearly rate. i wouldn't give a shit about ride comfort for those short distances i'm doing regularly, and longer trips use the motorways which are nice anyway. so gimme that giulia

Ramsey was a liability because of his contract injuries and his actual performances.
Pogba IF proving its Man Utd who were holding him back - Amazing result.
Declined Pogba - Still would be our best midfielder.
Injuries - he is far from Ramsey in that aspect...

Overall Pogba might be expensive but he will be a good addition.
SMS on the other hand would be a great addition as he is in his prime, works harder, can defend, his ego hasnt grown to the Pogba level yet.

First choice should definitely be SMS BUT it doesnt mean Pogba is a bad deal.

Now for the wages - Up to De Ligt wages its ok but more could be problematic.

Should he played poor for France I`d say there is a definite decline but when there is such a big difference - I say environment.

In any case its probably not going to happen as his wages will be higher than what we would be willing to offer.

Dont get excited.. We are not getting SMS either...

Best midfielder? Locatelli > Pogba these past two years and it’s not close. :lol2:

And lol about the NT stuff. Ramsey looks like a top class midfielder every time he plays for Wales. How’d that work out for us? If a player has sucked ass for the better part of 6 years at club level, it’s not the club, it’s the player. Jogba is a lazy, showboating, zero work ethic clown. His pathetic displays are a big part of why Man United has sucked during his time there. Your love of him doesn’t change that.

Also, Pogba has missed 67 games and counting in the last 2.5 seasons due to injury. That’s over 25 missed/year. Yeah, he’s definitely not injury prone :baus:

Ramsey in the three seasons before his move here missed 39 matches due to injury. Don’t make shit up, Orgut

agree with most of it, but the bolded is taking it way too far and simply ridiculous, ManUtd is one of the financially most powerful clubs in the world and they have performed like they're Fiorentina or Lazio, it can't be pinned on just Pogba lol. I'm very interested to see what will ManUtd look like a year or two from now and whether Ragnick will be able to bring some sense into that shitstorm of a club because for years they've been underperfoming tragically, the room for growth there is pretty much second to none in club football.

Guys, here is a Romano podcast, but he speaks Italian: La Juventus pensa già a come rinforzare il centrocampo
I understand above sentence, that it states the club already planning to strengthen the midfiel. Please, someone listen the Juventus related part, if he adds more context to it, thanks in advance!

I think many Italian cars have problems with the electrical things in the cars, had a Fiat before and had constantly problems with my lights.

I drive a BMW 1 serie now, will upgrade to BMW X-something this year. Need to have a bigger car and Range Rover and Jeep are somewhat out of the budget for this year I think.

Dutch roads are the best in Europe, especially if I compare it to the South of Italy.

Pogba is great if he is given more of a 10 role. Last time he was here - we had the most disciplined mids next to him and a mainly defensive 5 behind them. He had a great understanding with Dybala too.

Would love to give those 2 another try, but both would have to take bigger defensive responsibilities. Dybala has to help cover the right side which he isn't too fond of...

On the other hand Pogs is putting good defensive shifts for France or at least he tries.

ok

-Barca/morata - Xavi bombarded morata with phone calls at the end of the month. Morata wanted to go, but there was no agreement found. Romano still sees him out of the club in June as of now
-Juve's midfield revolution has started - additional good changes this summer are wanted, but no names and nothing specific is mentioned.

that's all regarding juve, besides douglas costa a bit later, but that's not interesting

That’s not pinning it on him alone. It’s pinning it on him and their other big money signings who have performed like shit, take zero responsibility, and contribute to the toxic culture there. They are a large part of the problem, as much as everyone likes to blame just the coaches and the management.

There is some sense in blaming Maguire, wan Bissaka, Fred and van de Beek for not meeting expectations and flopping, but of course most of the blame goes to the guy that splashed over 200m for these bums, it wasn't that hard to see beforehand that neither of these signings (maybe bar van de Beek) was a sound use of funds, everyone kind of made fun of them right away
