I wouldn't make much of the 1pt difference. We are usually a 90+pts team, and they need to hit that high to challenge us.

I think it's more representative to look at whether it went down to the wire or we secured the title multiple rounds before the end

We secured the title this year after match day 36. It wasn’t some super early thing like in some previous seasons. Inter wins their home game against Fiorentina on match day 35, who knows what happens. We looked like shit all season.

They pretty obviously improved on previous seasons. There isn’t really any argument against that. Not enough to take on a fully-firing Allegri Coached Juventus, but enough to run a dysfunctional Sarri coached squad close.

Of course, assuming Pirlo works out, we should have no trouble winning scudetto next year, but if he turns out more Sarri on the bench than Allegri, we’ll be in for a battle with a few teams imo
