The Aouar rumours come from a very unreliable source unfortunately. I went to read the original article, the guy says that Aouar made it clear that Juve would be his first choice but without giving any concrete evidence... and yeah this “journalist” makes it look EXCLUSIVE. Then he goes to add that Lyon will definitely ask for 50m+ to sell him. We all know that we don’t have that kind of money to spend this summer.

We could get if the sale of burnurtdeski and Costa happen. Although I doubt any club is stupid enough to pay 30 for berna .

Is our recruitment team so crap that they keep looking for obvious purchases? That will of course cost us lots of money. A smart way to do this business is to,

Tell Arsenal you want Auba for berna, then settle for Bellerin. Still an upgrade from berna

Tell Tottenham you want Sonny for costa, then settle for sergio aurier. Still an upgrade for our RB problem.

Then let’s pray for that to happen, it would be the ideal scenario. On the other hand, the club has to dispose of heavyweights such as Higui and Sami, which might prove to be the main problem. I wouldn’t wanna be in Tici’s shoes this summer, he has major repairs to make.

Vidal...id take back as a depth player assuming it was on reasonably low wages and a short contract. 2 years max. He absolutely can’t be expected to start though given his age. The attracting mf needs to be young and dynamic.

i want to see some loan plus option deals. did paratici not learn this trick from his mentor marotta? especially for italian players, because italians are not good players to invest in outright.

so when berna and costa sold, would be nice to get locatelli and chiesa on loan + option deals. that way if they perform, we can get them. if they flop, they go back and we aren't stuck with expensive transfers and wages.

not sure how sassuolo and fiorentina would like these deals, but like every other club covid would be hurting their finances. so chance to get 5-10 million in loan fees + freed wages, and youngsters traded might be enticing.

I dont think we are after Aouar anymore.
The links were strong before Arthur but it feels like rumors about Aouar are now more of a media BS rather than some breaking news..

'Some young players might be included'

Tbh my coping mechanism has kicked in already and I think he could be a decent short term option.

Dzeko is a great player without a doubt. He's actually amazing in my books ever since his Germany days. He always impresses.

The only issue I have with the guy is his age. Even more so because we're trying to rejuvenate the squad.

However, if we're getting him to replace Higuain, yet we get more young players to replace our old guys, I don't mind this one bit. Not one bit. Because Dzeko is gonna be a quality addition and we badly lack the quality he has.

I wonder if we're planning to sell either Ronaldo or Dybala, though.

Fine, as long as the overall project would go down in age, short-term exception for pandemic-hit club is fine. I don't get why so many people are angry with this. If it makes sense financially, and the club knows the finances better than us, then let's do this.

I could live with a 2 year deal for him. Not a bad short term option at all. He’s more useful than current (finished) Higuain, still in good shape, relatively quick and scores lots of goals.

We really do need to badly improve the midfield and fullback positions though.
