Tomorrow is your chance to scout some of them, at 18:00 we play Youth League vs Real Madrid. Usually it’s not very rewarding to follow our primavera, but I enjoy it at times to see them baby Bianconeri.

Would you consider Arthur, Kulusevski, Lacazette, Gosens and Partey as a successful mercato?
I might use this chance, thanks!

It depends on the rest of the mercato, meaning who goes as well.

One thing I'm sure of is there's no time for revolution, both on the market and on the pitch. With that in mind I expect an evolution of last season's 433: simply improved in personnel and tactics/way of playing.

So the only one singing from your list I'd be wary of is Gosens. He might be a perfect wingback in 352/343 but I don't see Juve playing this, hence why it's a no from me. I'll take AS + Pellegrini instead, that's for sure.
Instead of Partey, I think we need Aouar much more. I wouldn't be disappointed with Partey though, far from it. That shifts Bentancur from DM to B2B though. Should be fine but I'd like to have someone more productive there, like Aouar.
The rest is totally cool for me. I mean, Arthur and Kulu are already here and Laca is the best forward we've been linked to so far IMO. Laca > Zapata > Milik > Dzeko. that's the order for me.
If we sell both DC and Berna, we would need one more winger though. I'd gladly drop Ramsey for De Paul too (hopefully we won't have to take Mandragora back).

I see it more like this:

CR7 - Dybala/Lacazette - Kulu/*
Arthur/Rabiot - Partey/** - Bentancur/De Paul
AS/Pellegrini - Bonucci/Chiellini - De Ligt/Demiral - Cuadrado/Danilo
Szczęsny/Buffon
* Berna/DC/Chiesa? I have no idea.
** - Bentancur + some kid. Fagioli?

This looks somewhat realistic to me. If we do better or worse on the market - fuck knows :D

So if we should avoid Atalanta players should we avoid players from similar clubs having similar seasons in other leagues?

I am curious as to the logic behind avoiding Atalanta players.

Not per se. But you have to look at the player individually and see what it is that makes him stand out. If a player has great technique, pace, vision for example, those are most likely traits that will transfer to whatever club picks him up.

If you watch Gosens for example, what is it that makes him stand out for you? I don't see much in him, except for strenght. The rest seems all pretty average to me.

That's why I wouldn't trade him at all for Alex Sandro. Add him as 2nd LB and have them fight it out, but to sell AS and fully trust in Gosens would be too risky for my liking.

maybe the club doesn’t want something flashy back there, rather a more no-nonsense do the simple things right kind of player. (I.e. strong defender [you said he was strong ] and can pass reasonably well)

LWB and LB are not the same thing. I want my left back to be able to defend, not to look like Semedo last night, all over the place.

Since we have Cuadrado as an adopted RB, we need LB to be solid defensively. Gosens to me is simply a midfielder with a proper engine and an ability to attack. His defensive contribution is difficult to rate because he's got an additional CB behind him, which he most probably won't find at Juve.

Wow, such underwhelming names all around for the striker role
:touched: You sound like me  I like you already :p

Lacazette, Aouar, Parteyy, LB, RB, De Paul/Locatelli

That'd be a great mercato imo, while keeping our main assets and getting rid of dead weight
There you go. That's a nice list mon ami, but what about Zaniolo? Do you like him?

So we are trying to force Dybi out yet again? Fucking Princess7 is the one causing all the problems in our squad, force that piece of shit out first! He's the one who wants to play on the wing although he is fucking useless there and he's the reason we don't find a spot for Dybi. Sell that fucker to China and bring back Giovinco or whoever, even he would suit us better.

I am aware of the tax laws but have one question, does it matter how long it has been since a player left Italy (like Pogba)?
yes you need to be out of Italy for at least 2 years to be elegible for the new tax law.
So even if you're italian but left italy at least 2 years ago you'll get reduced tax on your income

I guess Lacazzette would be a decent option. He really hasn't set the EPL on fire though since he left Lyon. Maybe a change of scenery will do him some good.
Laca does a lot of undervalued work in that Arsenal team tbh. He has not set the EPL on fire but given Auba the space to shine and assisting him amongst other things. He does smart runs and holds the ball up well. He is also the most technical gifted striker of all the ones we have been linked with imo.

Im not saying he is gonna be a gamechanger here, but he would be able to take some pressure of Dybala and Cr7. In Lyon he showed worldclass form in stretches. I dont know if i blame him too much for not replicating that at Arsenal. A football club that has been in shambles for some time.

I remember him saying he loved Juve.

That means nothing but thought I'd say it.
