It's probably part of this ongoing 'synergy' between the clubs. I think if Agnelli has been watching Sassuolo in recent times he can't fail to be impressed. Ok it might be more of a temporary thing than Atalanta, we don't really know, and much depends on what players Sassuolo can keep, but they are doing the right things. Getting ahead of the queue and keeping the relationship sweet can't hurt at all.
Yeah potentially

Now who would you sell and who would you buy?

I personally don't think we are many signings off reinvogorating the team. I'm leaving the coach aside. The core is there with Bentancur, Demiral, De Ligt, Dybala, Arthur and Kulusevsky (potentially for last two)

Let's just fuck with Nipples and sign Boga. I know Sass want 40+ for him, but I'm sure we can push it down to 25 + bonuses if we add one or two young guns.

Costa and Bertha are done. One is injured 80% of the time, and the other is useless 99% of the time.
Boga reminds me alot of Costa so yeah I completely agree. Boga and Kulu in, Costa and berna out

Jezus, just cut them loose. Khedira, Matuidi and De Sciglio would probably be of more use to us if we rescind their contracts.

DC, Ramsey, Berna and Rugani should have some suitors at a low price.
Yep. At this point is better just to assume losses and cut the cancer.

Also this will maybe treach them to sign more carefully and mainly to be less casual at the moment of giving fat contracts on extended years to scrubs.

I hope they will learn their lesson of what happened in the last 2 years, which has been Seccoesque

Pirlo and Lippi as a mentor

Malthouse/Buckley style Salvo? That didn't work lol. Well not completely the same scenario either.

I don't see us sacking sarri after one season when he will win us the scudetto. Hope so anyway.

The midfield is the issue. Kulu givs us good flexibility in that final third. Zaniolo would as well. Effectively being able to offload costa and Bernie with those two coming in are ideal. But we will only have 3 good options with bentancur Arthur and rabiot. Ramsey khedira and matuidi need to go. Means we have to fill 3 more midfield spots in the squad. Hard task but its what we need.

Sell 3 and buy 3, is there a budget? Lol.

Matuidi out pogba in
MDS out Semedo in
Bernadeschi out Messi in LOL....we have kulu already...guess zaniolo would be another good option in that final third.

:D

Yeah it wouldn't work at all but it would be badass

I honestly think Zaniolo and Kulu could rotate in that midfield

Plus another solid player like Locatelli

If money is an issue and we really can't get a top CM... Then we really need to use the deadwood profits to get some young guys with a much lower salary that will at least bleed for the team.

For instance selling Ramsey and Matuidi should cover the costs for Locatelli and Mandragora. Don't think that's a downgrade but at least they could have an actual upside and be sold on later. The same goes for Bonucci - Romero.

Just ditch Khedira. He's only costing us money and sanity.

Midfield needs major overhaul, we not good to go yet. Zaniolo is for the attack. Locatelli is a decent backup/rotation player, but far from enough for midfield. Quality upgrade signing there makes or breaks this team.
We already brought in Arthur. Bentancur and Rabiot fit the bill. Sell Ramsey, Matuidi, Khedira and buy two super promising youngsters as Tonali for example.

i'm afraid arthur isn't physical and dynamic enough to solve our basic midfield issues. he's talented as fuck indeed, but he couldn't even bench ageing vidal. that swap with pjanic is purely financial, and his costs will be balanced out with some similar deals. technically he'll be a squad player if available.

ramsey will be very hard to offload. nobody would pay his salary.

i also think we need an other quality cm. if napoli would cover the osimhen deal by selling fabian ruiz, we should be all over him. i'd rather overpay for him than for milik.

Tootsie was hibernating while Napoli were concluding the deal in the region of 30 million Euros for Ruiz. Actually, I think it was on Magotta that summer, can't be quite certain. The thing is, we missed out on a quality player who only cost Napoli 30 million euros. To put things into perspective, we paid The Purple Rats more to acquire Burnturdeski :sergio: :wallbang:

I guess we were too busy extending the contracts of Khedira and Blaised and Confused. I get it. We were all wrapped up, immersed in the hype surrounding the Ronaldo transfer, but we ignored the midfield. It was criminal to do so, and we are still paying the price for it. We've actually been paying the price since the summer of 2015 when we starting dismantling the midfield by selling Vidal. Allegri was indeed a miracle worker, turning shit into gold.

I was mad as hell when we didn’t consider Udinese’s Allan when we sold Vidal (or was it Pogba maybe?) and the same with Zielinski and Ruiz, all during Marotta’s tenure
