I don't mind regulating, but it would only make sense when we actually see credible rumors. Like, I wouldn't open up a Zidane, Pep and Poch thread since Poch seems most credible right now, would make sense opening up one for him since Momblano/Argesti seems to acknowledge some truth in the rumor
pm Gordo, Salvo, Enron, JJ...and see what they think. If they all agree....

Is not something that happens alot tho? If Sarri is fired, can make thread called next coach maybe. But we usually can discuss coach rumours here, or Serie A thread, or even sarri thread lol.

true but we have had rumors for a long time for the same 3 coaches and topics discussing them can be found in their respective league threads, Sarri's threads, wish list threads, all over the place. Thought maybe if it would be more centralized it would be more in-depth discussion. I see your point though.

Why wont we just go for the best domestic attack like approach, who motivates mediocre players to perform like mini hercuelin army, in Gasperini? Is it because he plays 3 man D lines?

There is no way Agnelli is going off meeting De Zerbi to hire him, seems so small time move for a president who obbsessing about winning CL and building the brand lol.
Not even sure if Gasperini is interested tbh. He’s the face of this Atalanta team, everything nowadays is great there. Primavera, stadium, results, budget. Realistic expectations and he could write history to win the Scudetto with them. He’d be crazy to leave Atalanta now.

As for De Zerbi, I’m not fully convinced he’ll be the right guy for us. But if Agnelli decides to continue investing in youngster and a attacking philosophy, he might be a nice option. Young coach who gives time to young players and who plays attacking football. If he comes we should stop feeling obligated to win the CL, even with Ronaldo. Rather look forward to the future and watch the young players and manager grow. Sounds really healthy, but it would be sad if Ronaldo doesn’t win a CL with us.

Gasperini has alot of power and prestige in Atalanta, but I dont see him turning down Juve. Best job, and where he started off. But I'm unsure if we would be interested anyway.

De Zerbi is nice and naive young attacking coach, but unless we hitting a reset button like you said, I dont see us going for him as first choice. Unless they know something we dont? Should be lots of names ahead of him. Tho most unattainable.

My all time favourite coach ,with one of my favourite former players, but seriously, why? Its a combination of too late (by 2 decades almost) and the other one too soon. Mishmashing like that can go horribly wrong.

    Lippi already hired by FIGC.

In all seriousness we are having a major Tuz meltdown as of late

It's been a really tough year, leaving the coach discussion out of it

Despite all the bashing paratici has gotten it has to be said

He has given us the best young defender in world football and another young CB that looks to be another star. Our center backs are set for the next decade. We need a better starting right back that's for sure but they are tough to come by.

Getting Kulu was a great signing, we hopefully have another star in the making.

If we can get rid of Marottas deadwood and add Zaniolo and maybe a Locatelli or a more physical mid type and our midfield is set if all things work out.

A young striker and Pellegrini back from his loan and we are good to go IMO

Midfield needs major overhaul, we not good to go yet. Zaniolo is for the attack. Locatelli is a decent backup/rotation player, but far from enough for midfield. Quality upgrade signing there makes or breaks this team.

It would just be badass to see Lippi with his cigar and Pirlo there looking ice cold

I think Zaniolo or Kulu could rotate between the midfield and the attacking 3

    Ronaldo Dybala Zaniolo/Kulu

    Or

    Ronaldo Milik?
    Dybala

    Arthur Bentancur Zaniolo

    Or

    Kulu Bentancur Arthur

    Backups
    Rabiot, Locatelli, Matuidi?, Ramsey?

Question marks on the last two as id sell both if the right offer came

Paratici wants to sign a new midfielder for Sarri's game who should have more quality in dribbling, more habit of moving without the ball & defending forward. The favorite: JORGINHO! [TS]
Fuck this shit. Fuck Sorri, Tootsie and Fagjinho. What the fuck are our scouts doing? It's not as if this fucking Chelsea reject is the only midfielder available across seven fucking continents! Seven billion people in the world, thousands of footballers, and only Fagjinho can play Sorriball?:angrymob::andy2::sergio::red:

If we manage to sell De Siglio, Rugani, Khedira, Matuidi, Bernardeschi, DC and Higuain, I will call it a great mercato no matter who we buy.
Not if we replace them with ageing garbage that we struggle to sell in 1-2 years.

it would be another thread bashing any current coach we have.

unless you want to mod them. lol
I volunteer to mod. I will limit number of insults and F words per post to 7 :baus:

Let's just fuck with Nipples and sign Boga. I know Sass want 40+ for him, but I'm sure we can push it down to 25 + bonuses if we add one or two young guns.

Costa and Bertha are done. One is injured 80% of the time, and the other is useless 99% of the time.

    Carnevali wants Chiellini: https://sport.sky.it/calciomercato/2020/07/15/sassuolo-carnevali-intervista :klin:

Not just Boga and Locatelli, but there has been that tie up for Kaio Jorge mentioned, quite a few of our kids linked to Sassuolo before in p/e, Scamacca is another one, whilst De Zerbi is an obvious talking point.
But why would Agnelli meet with him and not Paratici?

If you could sell 3 and sign 3 players who would they be this off season?

It's probably part of this ongoing 'synergy' between the clubs. I think if Agnelli has been watching Sassuolo in recent times he can't fail to be impressed. Ok it might be more of a temporary thing than Atalanta, we don't really know, and much depends on what players Sassuolo can keep, but they are doing the right things. Getting ahead of the queue and keeping the relationship sweet can't hurt at all.
