Yes, he could be a decent depth player, but we should buy a starting midfielder first - someone of WC caliber. In the meantime, Tootsie is too busy chasing Milik, Zapata, and Lacazette.

This is the closest to ideal. But forget on getting rid of Danilo, guy has contract till 2024 on very high salary. He's not getting that from anywhere else. So it's too unrealistic even for an idealistic projection

Was about to post the same. Its not a transfer link but a performance related post.

Its funny how one performance could change some members opinion though.
Milik is an average player and not exactly a WC striker. He needs players to work for him and provide him with good crosses.
I dont remember if he score with his foot or head but I have a feeling it was a header.

It is true we are missing a player that can be some kind of pivot and add a threat in the box but Milik is just a void filler and not exactly a player to bank on..

Maybe Im too ambitious but I want us to have the best team possible and I rather we have a player that can be more useful than just give a header every once in a while..

Provided the club can afford to buy who it needs, I couldn't care less what happens with players like Danilo. He can sit around earning high wage, train with the B team whatever.

Club is familiar with this situation. Mediocre, overpaid player who won't move on so sits here collecting checks which is a situation I don't expect to end this summer.

I'll be happy long as those types are off the field.
