Is it possible that UEFA could investigate this Pjanic-Arthur swap if deal will go through with those 70M and 80M sums? This will only be about balancing the sheets for 2 financially fucked up clubs...
Nope. UEFA isn't an institution that determines player valuation. There is nothing they can do about it.
You can't establish a third party that does that. You can try to regulate the transfer market but that is never going to happen.
An alternative would be the NBA style but that opens another can of worms.

So Mr injured is valued more than Pjanic?! I know Arthur is younger but please Pjanic is definitely the better player for now...
Also once Pjanic moves to Barcelona he will be much better as ambition is very important
Pjanic isn't worth 30 mil. the way he plays he's 30 years of age. Melo however injured does have more value than him especially in the long run.

Talks between Juventus and Barca for Arthur-Pjanic continue. In the last few hours, the Brazilian midfielder has shown done openness to moving to Juventus. [Di Marzio]
It was only a matter of time. The way we pursue players, coaches or anyone we want is on another level. Ultimately flattering for the target.

That too, but it was already made clear to him a while ago that he's persona non grata for xi but seemed content being bench warmer for near future than move to Turin.

I mentioned him recently and some time before that, personally I really like him even if he is 29, he has several dimensions to his game, I like his contribution outside of the box, id definitely have him over milik imo
Sounds like the right type of striker partner for Ronaldo. But 29.

Yeah, monetarily and in long run its a decent deal for us. As well as on the pitch (when healthy), just not perfect, which is what we really need. But with corona and pjanic's stock dropping and no one else really keen on him, it is or is very close to the best we can do. Glad Barca is run by incompetent MGMT currently. Thanks abidal and co.

I agree. It’s a good deal, hopefully Barcelona won’t get that last 10m. Arthur is younger, less wages, and with Bentancur we can miss Pjanic. Arthur (as far as I know him) is the type of midfielder we’ve been missing. We need more midfielders but it’s a start.

Nobody likes that we need to do such transfers to balance the books, but it is what is it. Hopefully Paratici can works some wonders and offload all the useless players to get us in a healthy position again. But for this deal we are the winners imo.

arthur is not that injury prone though

we're usually after people with 1 or 2 ACL injuries

with pjanic being so shit, get it done. i don't think we can sell him for mad bucks anyways, especially not right now

23y old, 20 caps for brazil, decent resell value if he flops

I have no idea about Arthur but every Barca fan I have asked they say that he should not be sold, especially not traded with Pjanic.

And BTW just checked, he played 26 games this season and 44 the season before.

Arthur was impressive every time I watched him playing, different player to Pjanic, much more dynamic. Dunno about his injuries, but his record is not that bad afaik.
