ah who cares, it's not as if either of the two will see much of the field here anyway. If this plusvalenza means we can splash a little more on important targets this summer i'm all for it. If not however, we need to get our priorities straight in being a football club rather than a corporation.
I'd like us to give Mandragora a chance. Easy to forget that he is only 22 and could be nice backup for Bentancur.

Juve and Roma are talking about various hypotheses and the names are many. They hope to close operations by June 30 to balance the books. On Zaniolo, Rome will do everything to avoid the sale. It seems that Sarri likes Cristante.(IL Tempo)

Poor mans Khedria. Can score goals and do some defending but in general a meh signing.

Let's hope Juve can get that Zaniolo - Berna swap done at least. After that I want Aouar.

I don't mind a Cristante type of player as a 5th or 6th choice mid, as long as two things happen - first, that shady trades that clubs do (Juve included) eventually develop into either a regular NBA type of trades, something that Paratici mentioned, or be labelled by the authorities illegal or anti fair play and be done with it. It is clear that in those type of deals the main goal is not to get a player you want, but to register an economic profit and balance your books. When prices are adequate and fair one can argue that it is not a big issue, but what if Roma and Juve suddenly decide that both Mandragora and Cristante are worth 65-70 mil euros for example?

Second, balancing the books should lead to a major coup, a star player is a must, whether it's Pogba or a young gun like Aouar, Zaniolo, etc, someone fit to start at a top club. Removing Pjanic, Ramsey, Rabiot, Matuidi, Khedira and Berna looks impossible, but at least half of them should go. There is a great potential for a master 10/10 mercato, but I am not expecting that much awesomeness and would be satisfied with a 7-8/10 mercato, to me this means a top mid, a good prospect mid, a starting right back, an adequate left back to compete with ASandro, cute black left wide attacker from Sassuolo, and a striker to replace Higuain. That's 6 players, 5 if we consider Luca a decent backup for Sandro, Sassuolo can pick a gem from our U23/Primavera to include in the deal, so it doesn't look that hard, the bigger problem once again would be offloading the players and we have a lot of those...

Loooool. Tonali is nowhere near as good as Zaniolo :howler:

GTFO with that shit.

This Tonali kid is good, very good potentially, but he's not a once in a generation type talent. Some of you are seriously overrating him.
