He's a bench player for Argentina, dude. Get real.

And in your logic, pal... He won everything with Juve. Just like Padoin did. Let's get him back.

Icardi is as proven as they get... Funny you're sort of denying that. If anyone doesn't want him because he's an ass, I understand. All the rest is bullocks.
Icardi is not even a bench player for Argentina, dude. Get real

Dybala proved that he can score goals consistently, scored some important goals in the CL, won almost everything with us and most importantly proved that he is not a cancer to the club and the dressing room.

I`m not saying that he cant score goals. He can, but there are tons of strikers out there that can score goals too and they are not as poisonous and drama queen as he is.

Yeah, that's definitely true - as long as Ronaldo is here, we don't need Icardi simply because he's too expensive to sit on the bench and he won't play with CR7 and Dybala in the trident - that would be madness.

I say we recall Higuain and keep him for at least one more year, perhaps even two. What is more urgent is to add B2B/attacking mids Sarri needs and also a couple of wingers if Berna and Costa are truly leaving.

If Higuain prefers contract termination and refuses to come back, then get someone cheap like Mertens and focus on the midfield and wingers. Otherwise we'll have another year of Sarri trying to play his football with Matuidi and Berna.

My feeling is that the attack was never a problem to begin with and definitely that is true for Sarri's tenure here. CR7, Dybala and Higuain will score plenty more once the service is there.
Well I wouldnt call it madness as its all about balance but I guess we wont have the balance needed for it anyway..
Ronaldo and Dybala are both going to start and reports are making Kulusevski the next big thing so I see no room for Icardi but I do see a room for a rotation type of player like Milik (although I dont like him...)
I think we will push very hard for Pogba and we get Meunier while I expect us to offload MDS and maybe Caudrado too (even If I want him to stay).
I dont expect many signings nor a Ferran Torres...

So, are we going to bench Dybala or play him out of position to accommodate an outsider, an intruder, a massive shitcunt? I am not in favor of that at all.

Dybala should be the focal point of our attack once Ronaldo leaves.
In order for Dybala to do what we want from him we need players who can do their jobs better - Our midfield is horrible (except Bentancur) and if we add Pogba (which I believe we will) our mid will be able to go forward and help our attack - This is where I see Dybala twice as dangerous as he is now.
Signing Icardi - I think we would be stupid to do so.

If a swap deal including Pjanic and costa for Icardi .... good deal + Higgy out = 17m for 8m

opened chance to refresh the mid, while you refreshed the attack ....

buy Pogba and maybe Tonali ...

involve Ramsey in Pogba deal

i think this is good business / sport move ...

terminate Khadera

Pjanic and Costa for Icardi a good deal? :howler:  Stop it! Stahp! That's fucking ridiculous.

If we go through with that deal, it's an awesome deal for PSG.

You don't get rid of DC unless you're bringing in another winger, and that winger can't be motherfucking overrated box faced Chiesa FFS!

It wouldn't be a strange move for this management tho. They always get what we don't need.

I didn't say Icardi played for Argentina consistently. Because well, being selected or not for a national team is a useless arguement.

Dybala is not a consistent goal scorer. He got more than 20 goals in just ONE Serie A season. Just once. All while playing for the utterly dominant champions every year. Dybala has to be a supporting striker and therefor has nothing to do with the actual prima punta. But Icardi haters keep spinning it that way.

There are not a ton of strikers that can score goals like Icardi does. And if there are, name them and their price. Icardi is as cold as ice and we probably won't get him as Marotta will do everything to sell him to someone else. But if he is available for a low fee we can afford, we will definitely pounce. We've had our share of troublemakers before and they were all kept quiet. Besides the drama is 90% his pig's fault.

I`ve never mentioned Dybala until you threw his name into discussion

Icardi has done nothing so far in his career, except for scoring regularly in the potato fields across Italy. But so did Toto Di Natale, Sergio Pellisier, Pazzini and the likes. . . He scored regularly for PSG this season but they are by far the best team out there and with the best offensive potential in Ligue 1. Its not like they were mediocre before that and he turned them into a goddamned war machine. He has scored regularly for them just like any other striker in their team for the past 7 seasons. And hasn`t won anything yet despite being 27.

He is a pure cancer for the team and the balance and chemistry in the dressing room is one of the most important segment in any sports team. Its not gonna be long before his whore comes out public on his new contract/position/minutes demands just like she did with Inter in an evening show, so Marotta had to call in the show and mop the floor with her before she started crying. A real soap opera.

I would rather have someone like Mandzo that will die for the team, adapt to any position or coach needs and put the team in first place, than have a ticking bomb like Icardi.

I love this argument. That could be said about any one player in our history. Gigi is good but we were winning before and would win if he wasnt here. He didnt make that big of an impact
Gigi has won 1 World Cup, 11 Scudettos, 6 Super Cups, 5 Coppa, 10 times Italian GK of the year, 5 times world best GK, named the best GK in the last 25 years by IFHHS and probably the best GK in the history, along with other achievements outside and before Juve with playing on the highest level for 20 seasons in a row and still playing despite being 43.

Of all the other players in Juve, Gigi was the worst example you could give

Again with the stupid throphees? If you think anyone in our squad would've won with THAT inter squad, you're simply delusional.

And if you actually look at the opponents and statistics of Icardi's goals you would know you're just spitting bullshit. Juve for instance is one of his favourite teams to score against. And he had no problems scoring in the CL either.

And if you think scoring goals at PSG is nothing, you shouldn't account for anything Juve players achieve too. We're even more dominant than them in Italy.

I loved Mandzu, didn't want him sold at all. And guess what, he was good in the buildup and he was a nice guy but Sarri didn't want or need him. Maybe that should ring a bell.

The most difficult thing in soccer is scoring goals, Icardi knows how to do that. Morata would be a good example of an important striker for us in the CL. He did the trick by scoring some clutch goals in important moments. Exactly what we need. Every other competitor has at least 2-3 threats upfront.

We had a lot of bad boys in our team, we kept them all quiet. There are such things as contract clauses to keep those things buried.

I hope not but if we do not buy a new striker, it's another lost CL cause next season.

As long as CR7 and Dybala stay here, we can't afford such a luxury signing as Icardi IMO. Regardless of what you think of him. The 70m transfer fee + 7m wages (or maybe even more?) is simply too much for a bench striker. We have urging needs elsewhere and hopefully Tici and co address those at last.

IMO we should keep the majority of the players we have and only add to that. Obviously go ahead and sell those who can't adapt or have failed miserably so far. My picks for sales and their replacements:
MDS - Pellegrini
Berna - Kulu
Khedira - Arthur/Aouar - 70m
Matuidi - Tonali - 50m

CR7 - Dybala/Higuain - DC/Kulu
Aouar/Rabiot - Pjanic/Tonali - Bentancur/Ramsey
AS/Pellegrini - Chiellini/Demiral - Bonucci/De Ligt - Danilo/Cuadrado
Szczęsny/Buffon
This is the very minimum that I expect but on the other hand I could live perfectly fine with such a mercato.
I'm still undecided on Pjanic and Higuain - personally I'd keep them and sell only if we could upgrade significantly - this might be difficult to do though. If the club decides to swap Pjanic for Jorginho - I couldn't care less tbh, both are very similar but Jorginho surely has been Sarri's favorite ofr years now. That swap could end up being a Pjanic-plusvalenza in the end.
