Melo was actually a beast @ Fiorentina. I still can't understand how we failed with Diego and Melo here. Perhaps if we had competent management and a better coach back then things could've worked out differently.

Without Higuain and Berna we will need an attacker or maybe 2 as well. Leaving our attack with Dybala, and a 35 year old Ronaldo with no backups isnt exactly sufficient. So ICardi might be the easist(although cringiest) way to get midfielders and keep a good attack

Berna barely gets any game time, and when he does he's useless and is sometimes deployed on the wing. Kulu replaces Berna in terms of ability and versatility (hopefully he can be more effective and useful to the cause).

If Higgy goes, we can talk about getting a new striker. I'd rather keep Higuain for one more season, and go all out for Haaland or another promising prospect from Ligue 1 or Die Eredivisie in 2021.

Buy Tonali, Pogba, and Torres for the summer of 2020. If Pogba is prohibitively priced, go for SMS or Aouar. 2 mids and a winger, and we're good. Obviously, you'd need to sell Pjanic, Costa, and free up some wages/salaries, but it's not impossible.

For the summer of 2021, focus on an attacker and a RB.

Pogba has proven he can thrive in the right environment, and we already know what he can bring. He was a beast for us, and he plays in a position we desperately need reinforcements in - nowhere near the same situation as Icunti. Also, Pogba might be a dabbing hoe, but Icunti is a whole different level of toxic douchebag with a whore of a wife/agent.

Hopefully the saved up money would go towards fixing the midfield.
