guys i want you to imagine a top juve playing great dominating football.

a juve where ronaldo and dybala are firing chance after chance into the back of the net

a juve where the midfield and defense look solid, thick, tight.

want to know what will make all of that work?

fabian.
We are missing a great midfielder and he can definitely be part of this Juve quality wise but I dont know.. There is something missing in him that makes me say wow at this player..

Juve talked to Cavani. :gdm:

lol
Cavani would be cheaper than Suarez and has played in serie A before. Still, he looks almost as washed as Higuain. Honestly, I think I’d go Dzeko over everyone. He doesn’t miss games, keeps himself in shape, and compliments what we have well.

There’s gotta be a younger 9 out there that hasn’t exploded yet that wouldn’t break the bank. Find one and promise them playing time. We already missed out on Haaland.
There isn't. Werner, Icardi and Osimhen already changed clubs, Haaland unavailable, Greenwood impossible, Jesus too expensive.

Cavani is the biggest no brainer ever. He's still WC, stile Juve player if I've ever seen one, scores goals like Suarez, fights like Mandžukić, doesn't need the ball, is free and falls under the new tax law. There's literally no downside to it, even for a 3 year contract, unless he's injured like Costa all the time which you can never know.

But I don't think it's going to happen.

Cavani?! I think we get a different Higuain.
He is old - wages are high and he is past his best.
dude the only criteria for our new striker is to be 33 or older, didn't you get the memo?

Now consider that and choose, don't tell every time that too pricey and too old, because it's so obvious that it's not worth talking about it

Only connection between Higuain and Cavani, Džeko and somewhat Suarez is age. But they're completely different players, characters, professionals. Higuain's problem isn't age ffs.

Financial aspect aside (all of them would cost the club less than Higuain), they're all much better players.

Its incredible how in 2010, we were dreaming of names like Suarez, Dzeko and Cavani who were all unattainable at the time

10 years later, we still might not acquire any of them but for different reasons ofcourse

Feeling a sense of deja vu here

Not that I want any of them at any cost at this point. All of them are an easy pass but I have a feeling our striker options besides the aforementioned names are going to get only worse from here.
