Allan - Udinese to Napoli
Barella - Cagliari to Inter
Sensi - Sassuolo to Inter

Tonali will probably end up at Inter as well.

Meanwhile we are too busy buying 30 year old injury prone flops like Ramsey.

Our transfer strategy for midfielders is simply abysmal.

Probably because we bought Brighi, O'Neill, Baiocco, Almiron, Bachini, Zenoni, Appiah, Nocerino, Sturaro, Pazienza, Olivera, Blasi, Isla, Felipe Melo, Romulo, Hernanes, Pereyra, Jorge Martinez and Bernardeschi in the past.

Dzeko is older than Higuain, Luis Suarez, Cavani and all the other old choices out there. I would take him if he was a free agent, but he's going to cost a transfer fee and probably want a huge 3 year contract.

Buying old players is basically a proven strategy for failure.

Ramsey, Matuidi, Higuain, Khedira, Bonucci (2nd time)...

All these guys were 28 or older when we bought them.

No wonder we are in such a dire state.

Seems solid enough when it comes to tackling but sevilla's game is all about winning the ball up high with the fullbacks pushing up. If I had to point out a weakness it would be his aerial duels, but to be honest its not something I'd criticise a full back on too much

Allan was a bigger, easily avoidable mistake than Verratti.

Barella is good, not top mid we need. Sensi?

Well then we should improve our scouting department.

Also, we've had plenty of success stories too. Buffon and Bonucci (first time) were both signed at a very young age, so were Chiellini and Dybala.

Besides, every single club has flops. We all know that not every young player works out, but that doesn't mean that you should change your strategy. Bayern didn't suddenly stop buying young players after Renato Sanches.
