Thiago is being underrated in these posts. He is a fantastic midfielder, one of the best. Better than all we have. Hard to see Bayern letting him go easily, I guess it's up to him to force a move but he has always seemed settled in Munich.

Thiago is a wonderful player, when available and fit. He's not that young anymore, and he shouldn't be our marquee signing in midfield. We've ignored/neglected that area of the pitch far too long (hand me downs, quick fixes and medicore freebies ) that at least two quality signings in that department are required.

Thiago as the main acquisition for midfield = underwhelming.

Thiago as a complement = solid.

The same principle applies to Allan from Napoli.

Have a nice day :)

People are most likely concerned about his injury history. I agree he's a great player if fit, but tbh i'm getting sick of having a squad full of broken players.

but then people want Pogba (also a great signing), who is having much more injury problems currently than Thiago. He hasn't been too injury prone since 6+ years ago. Would be a great signing.

Games missed due to injury for some intersting midfielders

rule n°1: never recruit a Bayern player. I do not know what they do with their players but there isn't one who hasn't broken a knee or ankle. We made a bullshit with Douglas Costa (sorry Doudou), despite my love for the player it must be admitted that it is 40 million wasted.

Gabriel Jesus does absolutely nothing for me, i don't see the hype at all, i don't even think he is better than what we got

But it would not suprise me in the slightest if we buy another cf and then get stuck with another shitehouse midfielder
His performance against West Ham United last was disappointing.

He missed 2 clear cut opportunities- one 5 yards in front of the West Ham goal as he took to long to shoot.

He also showed poor movement for most of the match.

50m+Ramsey for Pogba.. I wonder if Man Utd laugh before turning it down...
Pogba has been there for 4 years, 4 years of failure for him and for his club
He already wanted to leave last year, they have retained him, do they want to keep an another year a disgruntled player who will be disruptive for his team ?
He only had one year of contract (+1 year optional apparently), they are not in a position of strength to negotiate.

Tici puts his balls on the table for once, we're generous it's 50 + Ramsey or 80 million max. If they're not happy that they're dealing with Pogba's problem or looking for a silly club to pay $120 million.
