Most of young Italian players are highly overrated but if there was one young player you would want to sign it would zaniolo

I'd keep Costa as an impact sub, unless we can get good money for him or use him in a meaningful transfer (not for Chiesa or Fagjinho).

I must admit I have this fear as well.
He is a great player with a great future but he isnt the surest bet..
P.S I personally think of Aquilani who most were fapping about but in the end he was meh..

I dont think Zaniolo is the one we need although there is no doubt he will improve our midfield.

My ideal midfield consist a strong but technical midfielder who is very mobile with good off the ball movement and great vision to create along with someone who can really mark and tackle.
This is why my midfield consist one of Pogba or SMS along with a Kante type of player.
Bentancur will join the trio as he provides great defending skills and not bad going forward as well.
Arthur? Rotation at first and then we see..

I love this guy! He also plays on the left so can give us depth and options with or without Ronaldo..
If we can get him and one strong CM the mercato will be a great one IMO

Locatelli is an extremely obvious move. He's a vice-Bentancur playing in Sassuolo. Doesn't have the same technical level but he's no donkey. Also has more defensive strength than Bentancur.

Boga we all know about. Very dangerous player in a position where we need options.
