i thought everyone said meunier was cack when we were linked with him? :boh:

Nah, he is not a special player to miss too much, but he is very good rotation/decent starter. Excellent attacking qualities. Defenitely better then Danilo.

Pellegrini isn't ready, looked bang on avg.

I miss Spina

I actually rarely ever seen Pellegrini play except twice vs us. He is still young, but indeed I miss Spina too, nice technical qualities we could use about now.

But then again Spina has rarely been healthy for Roma.

Less then Meunier, but not too far off. Hysaj I'm not too fond mainly because he is fairly boring, doesnt excell either too much, but he just plays it safe side ways passes and stays back. He is not really someone who is gonna go and drive things forward or be much of a stopper, even if he is tactically defensive fullback.

And more importantly, he wasnt free transfer like Meunier would been.

Forget about book balance, is Arthur Melo good?
He is a good player with great potential.
He will surely start for us but dont expect too much as he still has to grow in order to get to that great potential.
Pjanic is done for us anyway and we know we cant really get a good offer but a swap deal and the board have done.
We are paying 10M to swap a player that dropped from Pjanic level to our current level of midfield (and its 2 years now..) for a good player with great potential.

Is he going to fulfill his potential is something else of course but we only sacrificed a player who was kind of done for us..

We still need one more midfield and it needs to be a great one!

On other news we are linked with Aube - I see no chance of that happening as we wont be paying much and Arsenal will probably rather lose him for free a season later or sell him for a really good price for some sucker club..
I wont be surprised to see Inter bids 40M-50M for him..

Kumbulla to Lazio, Cetin to Verona

According to Corriere dello Sport and Nicolo Schira, the Aquile are offering €18-20m plus two players, purported to be Cristiano Lombardi and Riza Durmisi.
The deal suits both parties as Verona can write down a strong profit on their balance sheet before June 30 and Lazio will get a long-term replacement for Stefan Radu.

Very good deal for Lazio.

Juve move in for Aubameyang?

Juventus are reportedly monitoring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s situation as the striker prepares to enter the final year of his Arsenal contract.
Inter seemed to be the Italian team showing the strongest interest in Aubameyang, viewing him as a potential replacement for Lautaro Martinez.
However, Le10sport is now claiming Juve have been busy making enquiries for the 31-year-old, assessing the conditions for a deal.
Despite Arsenal’s struggles this season, the Milan youth product has still managed 20 goals in his 34 appearances.
He recently cast doubt over his future in North London, telling Telefoot: “I have not received any offers recently, but there have been some discussions over the last few months with the club.
“So far, nothing has happened, because they have the keys. We’ll see how things go, it is a turning point in my career.
“To be entirely honest, that is going to be a very difficult decision, perhaps the most important of my entire career.”
The Bianconeri swooped in to sign Auba’s ex-Arsenal teammate Aaron Ramsey on a Bosman free transfer last summer.

Say we had 40 mill to spend on a striker and you had the choice of
Milik / Jimenez / Auba

Whats your pick?

thats not a bad idea. Rabiot seems like a perfect Arsenal level player, impressive technique and passing with zero ambition to do anything beyond collect a paycheck
