Locatelli is actually good. He developed nicely at Sass. He'd be a very good rotation option for Bentancur at DM (assuming that Ben would be the starter).

Y'all lost your minds already. This team actually needs young and hungry players who will bite the grass when needed. We can always settle with full-belly-puppies like Rabiot, Khedira and Pjanic. Then you wonder how they can be overrun by the likes of Zielinski or Demme.

How do you fix a midfield that needs 4 new quality midfielders? We keep bentancur but need to sell/use others in swap deals.

We can't bring in a player like pogba after not earning the money we have each season. Khedira will get us nothing. Pjanic may get us an Arthur or just money for that matter. Rabiot, Matuidi and Ramsey could be used in swap deals.

But seriously, it is a massive task to get at 2 or 3 top notch midfielders that are clearly needed.

We need to find those hidden talents...the vidal pogba and pirlo type freebies and mineral purchases are not easy to find anymore.

I'm still convinced Sandro's decline has much to do with who plays next to him. With Matuidi he just can't burst forward because he'll never get any through balls and has to cover for him. When he had Pogba he was bombing down the line all the time and getting to run onto the ball. Now he has to dribble past players which no FB should be forced to do all the time.

If only it was our midfield, we also need a competent striker to replace Higuain and probably a back-up LB as well. Those are at the very least 3 or 4 starters which'll cost 100M

I guess you'll have to take a gamble and find some raw talented players through good scouting for a reasonable price. I still don't understand why we never fish in certain leagues such as Ligue 1

it is more of anger than sadness. it has been 4 years and our president just didn't bother bringing any quality midfielders.
