Also, we’re all shitting on Bonucci, but if the people that actually know him and have played with him are fine with the move, that’s all that really matters, no? Seems like the fans are more worried than his actual teammates, who seem to all be welcoming him back. Fucking Chiellini was vacationing with Bonucci this summer. How bad can it be

It sucks we lose Caldara, but you never know how his career will turn out. We still have Rugani, who has more experience with the squad as well as playing in big games and have UCL experience. We got money for Higuain and removed his wages off the books, as well as adding the best Ball-Playing Centre Back in the world to the squad. Sure he’s 31, and we lose a young defender in Caldara, but people are acting as if we don’t still have Rugani. All we need is to sign De Ligt or another good young CB next season, and we’re pretty set in that department for the future as well.

Trust the management.

I think we’ll be seeing a lot of three man backlines this season with this move. Can’t see them just completely benching Benatia and Rugani needs to play too. Cancelo and Sandro are more offensive minded players anyway.

we had the same number of cb's last season, and all of them got plenty of playtime. even höwedes played when he was available. :numnum:

4-man backline it is.

Our main formation will probably be a 4-3-3, with Dybala being a more central RW. I could see us play with 3 at the back and 4-2-3-1 in some games though.
With this squad we can basically play any formation, we have everything. Second team would probably finish top4 in serie A.
Only question mark might be Midfield starters - we dont know how good Can will be for us, hopefully Matuidi keeps his form and Pjanic has his best season with Juve.

Like a 352/343 hybrid.

Szczesny

Benatia Bonucci Chiellini

Cancelo Pjanic Matuidi Sandro

Dybala Ronaldo Costa

Can rotates with Matuidi and Matuidi rotates with Sandro.

Of course I still think we have one more buy in store. So maybe replace Matuidi with a certain someone sms sms sms

Please, I don't want to wake up and see Leonardo Bonuccii's in the player thread and missing is Mattia Caldara missing. Social media seems to be mostly against losing Caldara and bringing back Bonucci.

There is no GUARANTEE a CL title comes next year by doing this. And what will be the mood with Juve faithful if it doesn't happen? Beppe, Max, and company must not set a PRECEDENT here and say you can tell Juve to go fuck off and still come back when your heart desires.

Like say if Dybala, or Pjanic will know the fact before exiting that Bonucci wasn't allowed back so do I really make sure I want to leave a place that has been good to me.

Would you prefer losing Alex Sandro or Pjanic? Or even Dybala?

Cause that’s what would have happened if we didn’t sell Caldara and Higuain.
