Favilli will go to Porto it seems

Hope we can fetch a good fee
If we can sell with option to buy back it would be great!
Porto could turn this guy into someone we could sell very nicely

This has been the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever.
What did you think about trading highly rated Carini for what seemed like a finished Cannavaro?

Anyway Caldara for Bonucci is indeed a bad deal for us even if Bonucci is definitely the better player right now (sentiments aside).
Caldara could have been our next legendary CB
Hope Rugani takes a step up as its about time he enters our starting 11 with Chiellini getting a walking stick in two years

FACT: While most here are nagging and bitching, the club is doing everything in their power to ensure that next season's starting XI is better than the previous one. And it will be, by quite some margin.

Yes, Bonucci will come, and yes, what he did last year was despicable. But surely you must see that getting an experienced highly regarded CB for an unproven youngster is an upgrade?

And I'm saying this in spite of the fact that I want Caldara to stay. In a few years, he can become a very good defender. I don't believe he will be a new Barzagli or a new Nesta, but I believe he will be quality. So it's a shame to lose him when considering the long term.

But the club has decided that this year is the year we go all in, and they are banking on ready-made stars / experienced internationals rather than youth. In my opinion, sometimes this is justified. Unless you wanna be Arsenal and opt for youth all over the park so as to claim: "Some day, lads! Some days these headless chickens will be very good and then we'll win lads!"

We have a squad full of world class players and superstars now, the team is improving and our popularity and revenues are soaring. And we just signed the best player in the world. We got Cancelo and Can on board and now Chiellini soon will partner up with a top CB who he has great chemistry with.

We're a fantastic team and ready to push for trophies on all fronts, even in Europe where we are among the favourites next season.

All thanks to a disgusting management and a 2/10 mercato ::lol3::
:agree:
The only thing missing in this mercato is a WC midfielder to partner Pjanic but I guess we will have to wait until next year for this..

italian strikers outside italy... :shifty:
Porto Ajax and Monaco are the best places for young forwards IMO so cheer up, he might turn into somebody..

I’m over it now. What’s done is done and we I’m eagerly looking forward to next season. It’s unfortunate that we lose Caldara and Pipa to those scum, but sacrifices had to be made. It was either them or maybe lose a Pjanic and or Alex Sandro. I know which I’d prefer.

This. Not ideal but sometimes you need to get your hands dirty.

What would be the ideal CB pair, granted Benatia stays? I feel like he had a solid season but will probably get auto-benched now with Bonucci returning.

Shit, this is so weird and even though I can perfectly understand decision to make this deal and logic behind it, I’m still disappointed mostly because I don’t want scumbag Bonucci back and also to significantly strenght Milan.

Fu*ck!!! hoping that Higgy fails miserably there! Caldara and Romagnoli is potentially gonna become a great duo..I just hope they dont win anything at all in Milan!
Sad to see Higgy leave but hey we have the GOAT, so he wasnt get much playing time, and Mandzu really is a great backup to have! Thanks Pipita!!

Why we can't sell Pipita to Chelsea?
it's not even clear if they made an offer.

one thing i don't get at all: we had the ronaldo deal in progress since february-march, and the club couldn't find a buyer for higuain for half a year. also, bonucci asked for a comeback months ago, so why did juve bother with barza's 1-year deal at all...
