We're a public stock exchange company. We can't go in big minus. There will be sales galore now.
Ofcourse i do understand that. Higuain and Rugani sales alone would cover his transfer fee. But then you're telling me we have to 'brace' bids for Pjanic, Dybala and Costa and sit and watch our team being weakened without a worthy replacement for either of those players ?

If so, it would be considered stupid planning on their part. Lets sell half our team because we have cover the costs for Ronaldo, makes complete sense.

None of us know the specific mechanics. perhaps we do not go into the red before next season and have time to offload in a year.

perhaps we are fucked and we bought Cronaldo with money we didnt have and now need to have a firesale.

Even though everyone believes the latter, it just wouldnt make sense considering the track record of this management.

Our problem now is that Chelsea have been jerking our chain for Rugani and Higuain. No bids have come and they probably arent. I hope they are, believe me. But if the buds wont come, the club will be forced to sell a Pjanic or whoever. I think Chelsea's hesitation is also why we're considering offloading Caldara.

We've spent like crazy, and now money has to come back. One way or the other.

As for Costa, Dybs and Mandzu, for the record; I dont think its likely they will be sold or anything. But if the Higgy and Rugani sales prove impossible, someone else is gotta go.

Pjanic first to go IMO if no one comes in for Higgy/Rugani

We're talking about his wages too here. He's being paid 4x more than the current highest paid player at the club something which is really unthinkable. You think they went full retard and decided to sell half the team(which includes selling Pjanic and Dybala as some of you are supposedly anticipating) to accommodate him or they studied the costs behind this deal carefully before moving ahead ?

Daniele Rugani’s agent confirms “the interest from Chelsea is there” but “neither the player nor Juventus have ever said they want a sale”.

The Blues have been linked with a €50m move for the centre-back, who would reunite with his former Empoli Coach Maurizio Sarri.

“The interest from Chelsea is there for Rugani,” Davide Torchia confirmed on Radio Sportiva.

“Beyond the figures though there’s a technical question, neither the player nor Juventus have ever said they want a sale.

“The operation with Chelsea is separate from [Gonzalo] Higuain, each deal has a different cost and different dynamics.

“The two players can bring in different profits. Rugani is calm and happy, he’s at the pre-season training camp and he’s thinking about Juventus.

“Tonight he’ll play against Bayern Munich, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have offers, just that he’s thinking of his current club, which is at the highest level.”

In that case, poor poor planning from the management (which i doubt)

I would've expected this kind of strategy from Berlusconi/Galliani , not Marotta/Paratici/Agnelli

Personally I think the ronaldo deal is a great deal even if he doesnt kick a ball

Short term though it is going to hurt us financially as the gains will probably be seen slowly over many years, it is a signing that takes us to the next level commercially but will take time for the revenues to catch up to the costs

So yes I do expect sales , if not this summer , in the coming windows as we dont want to report too many losses and see our debt go up

I never denied there wont be sales. But bringing him in to let guys like Dybala or Costa go ? Even if Pjanic goes , we need a worthy replacement. What kind of squad planning is this ? Might as well have not bought CR7 in the first place.

Poor planning, you could say. Or it's calculated.

We supporters are the one's dreaming of a Dream Team now, with the likes of Marcelo, SMS/Pogba for a total frontal assault on the CL.

But for all we know, the club's idea could be this:

GOAT on top, with the likes of Dybala and Costa next to him. And a "decent" midfield and defence behind them, and let's see how it goes

True. None of us are truly in the know, and I want a Dream Team as much as anybody. I'm just sharing what I think might be the case here
