Juventus to sign Makoun

Juventus are believed to be on the verge of completing a deal for Venezuelan talent Christian Makoun.

The 18-year-old defensive midfielder played in the Under-20 World Cup final, and had been sought by Real Madrid and Arsenal.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website though, Makoun arrived in Turin on Sunday night, the same day as Cristiano Ronaldo, and was at J-Medical today for his medical tests.

The youngster has a Belgian passport, and his transfer is expected to be officially confirmed in the coming hours.

It’s likely he’d play for the Juve B team in Serie C, or in the Primavera if the B squads aren’t admitted for the coming season.

As for Rugani - He is clearly a great CB but he is 3rd choice right now and to sell a 3rd choice for 50M while our board seem to have a hard on for De Ligt (probably they see something big in him) + We can really use that money for a midfielder...
Caldara can take his place and might even surpass him if he continues to play as he did in the last couple of seasons...
