This is more of a free agent / seller / buyer kind of situation. When we sold Pogba for 105, we payed $$$ to his agent. Now Real is selling CR7 and again WE are paying his agent? That doesn't sound right. CR and Mendes are GOATs, but he should receive his share from the one clubs that makes $$$, and that's RM.

When we signed Pogba on a free transfer back in 2012, it wasn’t reported at the time (and we didn’t find out until he was sold in 2016) that Mino Raiola was going to get a certain high percentage of any eventual transfer fee. It was almost like a co-ownership situation really, we owned 75% of the player and Raiola’s management had the rest of his contract, it’s why FIFA eventually investigated his sale to Man United. Anyway, Raiola getting this massive cut of a future sale was pretty much the only reason why Pogba came to us IMO.

If paying Mendes means he can land us players like Ronaldo and Pogba on a free then who cares.
It's better to have Mendes on good terms with us. His client list is amazing and this season alone hes potentially going to bring us Cancelo and Ronaldo. He is also the agent of Kean who could turn into a superstar. We need him on our payroll like a double agent.

Deals are being reported in a pretty S#$%y way. There's a net transfer fee between clubs and there are agent fees. In some cases, agent fees are build into the total fee, in other, you see 2 figures, like it's been mentioned with CR. I'm not saying this should be a deal breaker, but they could do a better job reporting these figures when it's official.
Any official announcement of a transfer going forward will include the amount paid to the agent, not just for Juve and clubs that are on the stock market. Its imposed by UEFA as a new part of FFP.

That's a good find and i nice idea by UEFA. It will bring more light on what's happening.
Yes, who cares about the agents fees and the sort. I mean worry more that in years 3/4 Ronaldo level of play falls off the cliff. :xfinger: For me if a CL title comes next season and nothing else it was worth it. Hopefully this signing helps other Italian clubs get better and I welcome the challenge of stiffer competition.
