Only big player that theoretically could leave & would be a big loss is Sandro, if he continues to reject a renewal and stays unmotivated. But that's a situation that is independent from Ronaldo, even if Ronaldo doesn't arrive, he might leave.

Seriously though, in response to everyone who is worried, I doubt Ronaldo would want to join if he believed Dybala and Pjanic are leaving. I think only Higuain would be star player that we will sell. I have to say I have been impressed with the way we have handled everything this summer.

Have we really seen any indication of any of that happening though or just usual baseless rumors.

If anything, the acquisition of a Ronaldo should be a strong reason for these players to want to stay. Fresh inspiration and a renewed belief that we can be CL winners.

I have to admit it has been impressive. Huge prospect goalkeeper for 12 million at a time when many teams are looking for goalkeepers. Free transfer Emre Can when lots of clubs were sniffing. Cancelo from rivals when there is a dearth of full backs available and now potentially Cristiano Ronaldo.
