Juve: 'Positive signals’ for Ronaldo
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have reportedly been given 'positive signals’ in their pursuit of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, there is increasing confidence on Juve’s part that Ronaldo is headed for Turin.

That was corroborated by Sport Mediaset, which claimed his agent Jorge Mendes was due in Milan on Friday.

The broadcaster explains it is then that Mendes could present a written request from Madrid for the Bianconeri to officially present their offer.

In another linked report, Marca claims Juve are expecting the representative to confirm Ronaldo has an asking price of €100m.

Dybala has scored 6 goals in 26 app in CL and Pjanic has scored 2 goals form 20 app. and you are making them sound like some deadly combo of free kick masters like Juninho. If they were, they would have scored a lot more when it counts in CL from free kicks. I don't care that they score vs Chievo, Verona and Udinese from FKs.
obviously they aren't any close to Juninho (who is nowadays?), but both are among elite freekick takers in the world. considering even the elite freekick players score around 3-4 freekicks per season and in CL you play 1/5th-1/6th of all the games, I don't think you can objectively judge free-kick takers only by their performance in CL, but yeah, of course you're going to score more freekick goals against Chievos, Veronas and Copenhagens of the world

Which is my point. They'll score in serie a when on form

Ronaldo scores everywhere, anytime, regardless of form

Maybe because not every freekick he takes is a direct freekick at goal?

Pjanic is among the best freekick takers in the world right now.

Nonsense. His freekicks simply aren't that good at all. Look up his success ratio and compare it to Mire, a consistent top freekick taker over the last years.

They really are. I remember when someone posted a video of their fans reaction after defeat. Some of them complained about weak bench. And they had like Kovacic, Isco/Asensio, and few other big names there.

Im fine with Sandro leaving on the premise that he's unhappy at the club. He wasn't good last season, and playing like that we have no particular use for him. Get another LB after we sign the GOAT

Only Champions League free kicks count now? What a forum.

I love to hate these guys. Glad Gab Marcotti is keeping them honest. They say Juve have to rebuild yet they have no idea who Juve have signed already.
