Well if the club can not offer a duty of care to it's own players following attacks from the ultras, fearing for their own lives and wellbeing without any sort of support from the club president they are well within their rights to feel like the club have breached the contract
Maybe that's the case and it would be easier than I can see for now. I don't think there is a precedent at top level so I dunno what to expect. If so, they have some good players worth taking a look into. Gelson has very good speed, dribbling and he's unpredictable, as far as I've seen him play.

Carvalho? That could be an opportunity. He is a pure DM with strong passing ability. If we're playing a 3 man midfield, or a 4-2-3-1, he could provide a more physical alternative to Pjanic, allowing him to push up. Gelson would provide some wing support. Literally Cuadrado is our only right footed winger and he is being used as a fullback. Gelson could be useful - although I doubt his ability to be a starter.

Cuadrado is getting older and speed / acceleration / stamina are key aspects of his position. Gelson is only 23.

Juve want Dembele of Tottenham. - GDM
He'd be good in Serie A I think. He is physical, very technical and a good passer. If he is slowing down a bit, Serie A is perfect since in Serie A players conserve their stamina and run more in bursts vs. the EPL which is fast in almost a contrived way. Perfect example is Cuadrado who is has always been effective through his ability to slow down and speed up. His acceleration was one of his best qualities. In england, you're always running so changes in speed are less effective.

How much could they possibly want for a 31 year old, and would he improve this team at all? I admit, I don't follow Tottenham.
Apparently they still want 30mil, which is too much obviously...

I don't really think they will improve our starting 11
Then you obviously don't know Dembele that well. The guy is an absolute stud. Barely loses any balls in possession, strong like a tank and has a very fluent passing game.

The only problem is like @zizinho said; his best position became DM at Tottenham. Before he did play a more advanced position but he's too wasteful in front of goal. In a 4-3-2-1 he'd fit perfectly 'though, next to Pjanic and a box-to-box like Can.

Dembele is a solid player win fit. Had a great 1st leg against us. He could potentially have 2-3 seasons left in him. He can defend, pass the ball, and is an imposing midfielder with good technical ability as well as ball control. Would be great beside Pjanic and Emre Can.
