Everyone has been missing an important point: Pjaca is just a loan with option to buy. The guy needs to play, so good for us and for the player. Good for Viola as well who get Chiesa's replacement.

Impossible? I wouldn't say so, as long us our players would be willing to go there.
Chiesa should cost below 50m, he has been impressive for Fiorentina, at times very impressive, but he's not going to be the next Del Piero to demand such a fee, just a player with great potential. Mandragora is easily at least a 20m prospect at this point, 20 years old, already playing for Azzurri, just had his first full season as a starter in Serie A and did well. If we didn't already have Bentancur, I'm sure we'd bring him back.

An Argentine who doesn't rate Higuain?
Im really not one of those haters that go on about him being the only reason we havent won the world cup, and I think he has done really well at juve. However, time is more or less likely to get the better of him and therefore i see Icardi as a good investment replacement. Also, It will only get harder to sell him in the next years, and his price will likely drop a lot. Therefore i think its right to sell now.

Football is about numbers and success in the end, not about who the people on this forum or fans of the club find the most charming personality wise to have on their team.

I can see why Chiesa would make sense though. If we are transforming Cuads into a RB and Mario is leaving, that leaves us with the need for two more attacking players.

I would thinking getting Chiesa from Fiorentina would probably be easier than getting Martial, for example (all things considered). Can use our players to to drive a deal down where Man U wouldn't take Pjaca/Mandragora lol.

But a deal worth 70m or so, no way that can't be accurate.

Might still bring him back if Disco Stu leaves.

Juventus to offer two players to sign Inter target

Gazzetta dello Sport understand that Juventus will offer Miralem Pjanic and Rolando Mandragora to Fiorentina in an attempt to sign Federico Chiesa.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Chiesa has become one of the most wanted players in the Italian market and a host of Serie A clubs are pursuing his signature this summer. Fiorentina have already reportedly rejected offers from the likes of Roma and Inter, as they look to demand a higher fee for Chiesa. Gazzetta dello Sport report that while Juventus' initial 50 million euros approach for Chiesa was rejected, but the Old Lady will not stop at it.

They will look to offer for Miralem Pjanic and Rolando Mandragora in return, as they look to lure Fiorentina into selling the winger.

ahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahaha :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

When we conclude that deal, we should offer Alex Sandro and Dybala to Man United for Darmian and Carrick...:lol::sergio::sergio:

Chiesa a great player and probably the best Italian winger right now BUT like I said before we dont really need wingers at the moment..
If we decide to go for him anyway a deal like that is a must accept on the Viola part..
Even if they dont rate the players that much - Pjaca is an amazing dribbler - His price could easily go to 60M if he performs well for 1 season!
Mandragora is a different story as he`ll probably never play for Juve..

On paper Fiorentina could gain (over years) 50M+20M+60M - thats 130M for Chiesa - a great deal on their part and a horrible one on our part

I doubt they could get Nainggolan with their debts...
Higuain might be possible if we trade him for Icardi..

Even in the event that Inter somehow succeeds in rataining Cancelo+keeping Icardi or swapping for Higuain+signing Nainggolan I still see them coming 3rd after Juve and Napoli
Juve right now is the best and with some margin but its mercato time and we need to see how it goes with our mercato and Napoli`s.. Should Napoli get Vidal and Balotelli they could have a major upgrade there and might be able to put up a real fight..
Our mercato depends on our midfield, Higuain and what we do with our defense - It all actually depends on us as if we do things to go forward I see it impossible to catch us.. Should we get a meh mercato Napoli might give us a real fight this time..

Inter are way behind and even with a major signing or even two major signigns I see them trail behind us and Napoli.
We should also take into account some factors:
Juve have a winning mentality BUT we won for 7 years straight so are we going to have the same hunger?!
Napoli are desperate for a title but do not possess our winning mentality - Ancelotti replaced Sarri so it might change their way of football (in a good way or a bad way)
Inter are the masters of choking when it comes to fight Juve - They cant beat us and when it seems they are going to do it (2-1 to Inter with Inter in 10 men) they choke and lose (3-2) - I can give more examples showing their tendency to choke such as Inter losing to Lazio 4-2 in the final day to lose the title to Juve who beat Udinese IIRC 2-0 (Ronaldo crying in the end is the cherry on the cake)

The truth is Dybala isnt such a great winger but more of a central forward/AMC/forward who is played in a central position but drifts wide
Bernardeschi is indeed a winger (although he can play in other positions as well) but right now Chiesa is the better player when considering the wide position
Potential wise I would put a close eye on Bernardeschi who can become special with time
So you are telling me that Chiesa is better than BernaGuti? @Fr3sh

That's pretty hilarious, Pjanic for Chiesa

The guy who wrote that probably doesn't follow football.
He`s an idiot, as it is pretty clear and well reported, that it is Pjaca and Mandragora rumored to be offered to the rats, but still. He did not confused just the last name of the player(Pjaca... Pjanic), he wrote Miralem Pjanic, twice! That`s how low the level at sites like calciomercato is...

You sure Marko Pjanic doesn't wanna play for rats though? :scared:

Then again Martial is entering the last year of his contract and not willing to renew so in theory martial is easier to attain

I did miss it...
If the option and the buy back difference doesnt exceed 10m and we offer 40m and not 50m it could be a good deal but we have bigger problems at the moment... midfield..

He probably confused Pjanic for Pjaca (or you say it the other way around..)

I think chiesa would be a great signing...he is so direct and his speed with the ball is awesome...i remember him causing us a lot of trouble while running at us

also seems like he has a good head on his shoulders and along w/ his father a strong support network (is it true he doesnt have an agent?)

It would be great to have 4 wingers in costa/cuads/berna/chiesa

My only thing is I dont know where we are going to get the cash of 50m for chiesa + 80m for SMS + 40m for costa redemption

(I'm assuming higuain fee will cancel out with his direct replacement)

Here's something not so new I guess:

RM is rumored to be thinking about Conte after Allegri and Pochettino said no. I guess that would guarantee Sarri to Chelsea? Higuain to Chelsea would make mych more sense then, because there are rumors about Morata asking for permission to leave.

Too many ifs at this point but RM surely have very limited options...

nice to see us linked with Golovin, I really like him as a player, he's a hard playing CM with good speed, decent shooting and passing ability. only thing Allegri would dislike is that he's not an aerial presence. easily the best Russian talent since Arshavin imo.

although it would be hard to predict how he'd do switching from RPL to Serie A, as the level obviously is very different. went to a footie conference last week that had Slucki in it, the way he put it: "Russian teams usually start competing in EL/CL group stages from game 3, as they spend the first 2 games adjusting to the different intensity". if we signed him, I bet Allegri's grooming period would last at least until the Valentines day
