If we pay €60M for Chiesa, B81 coma confirmed :baus:

Until proven otherwise , I refuse to rate some of these Italian attacking talents. One or two flashy games here and there doesn't change things. Time and time again , we've seen a large collection of overhyped Italian fraud attacking players(even midfielders) who amount to nothing after a few months of hype.
Besides we don't need this Chiesa guy. If a wing tandem of Chiesa-Bernardeschi is a 'dream' for some here, then we're really having low standards, let's be honest here.
I like Chiesa, but he's not not a 60 million player. 35-40 is his true value.

You mean to say some think we should drop Costa and potentially Cuadrado too?

Ok. Watching Italian tv right now they are speaking about Juventus transfer.

Perin done 15 mil
Can finalized next week
Benatia not leaving
Higuain - icardi still in the cards.
Darmian in holding pattern as Man U want more than Juve willing to spend.
SmS hot also doesn’t exclude Pogba
Chiesa still on radar
De Ligt def interest by both parties

nah, Martial is as much all potential as Chiesa. he's a bit older, but he hasn't proven shit yet. but the guy is physically superior and we desperately need that in our team of flowers
Martial was fire for Monaco, was man U's best player in his first season
That's pretty proven to me

No one ever said Gonzalo isnt a WC player, nor is anyone suggesting to replace proven quality with a potential, were talking Icardi Lewa not Kean

And playing as CB is a lot more unforgiving then as a striker. This man wants to ruin the kid and toss away a WC player without replacing with an equal

both mid level teams just like Fiorentina
Played in UCL

Was Pogba not a creative player?

Stacking your midfield with creative players doesn’t just win you La Liga, it evidently wins you the Champions League, which is what we should be aiming for.
Creative midfield is one aspect of it, no point in completely ignoring two of the best players of all time, Sergio Ramos, €150m benches and all the other factors involved. We aren't going to field a Barcelona midfield, you need to get over it.

Pogba is a two-way midfielder, or is supposed to be. We used him as more of an AM towards the end but it has to be a special player to be given that freedom and for us he was good for the most part. You can't find players with Pogba's mix of technique and power easily.

So you should do the same and ask for a top 5 cb to be replace with a "talent", sell said CB at a third of the price thst you want to purchased that talent?!? That's even dumber than any of the things being said about Higgy and his replacements

Higuain is a world class forward, thats why we forked out 90 mill for him and has delivered with his goals

This time last season many would have said Bonucci is top 5 cb in the world and can't be replaced, I mean did anyone seriously have much faith in replacing him with benatia who whenever played was a liability if anything. Replacing Higuain is harder than replacing benatia imo

Replacing Higuain with a Morata or Martial might look good in a future-proofing, ideal world scenario, but in the short term it's a massive gamble and the club surely won't make it.
