Uhm, I think Pjanic has a better vision, long passes and his set pieces are top notch. Verratti has a better dribbling and ball control.

Guise, doesn't it make more sense to get a more technical midfielder now assuming we already have Emre Can? Like Verratti or Kovacic? We still have Matuidi on the bench for that steel. Or do we need dem centimeters?

Pjanic is better in set pieces and he is good at controlling tempo, but Pjanic does not have better vision or passing, if anything I give the edge to Verratti there (he tries and is more successful with through balls in higher degree whenever I seen both play throughout the years), tho they genuinely have different play styles. Verratti focuses more in short spaces and passing (because he is more mobile and better dribbler then Pjanic, he handles marking/pressure better and doesnt force himself to find long target most times, but can go by 1 or 3 players and open u lanes that way), tho he is long passing is Pirlo level for sure. His overall passing ability is insanely precise.

Give me both these players at their best, and I would defenitely rather have Verratti in charge of creating in my midfield. Hands down.

Meanwhile every team on earth would fap themselves to pieces for a 33 (?) year old Ramos... So 28 isn't that old

12M for a 28 year old Italian that can play any position in defence is a good deal Imo...

12m is cheap and good investment for a backup player.

But 28 or not doesnt matter, what matters is quality, and this guy is fairly pedestrian level fullback. Will give you alright performances at best mostly. Too bad about spinazzolla, I was looking forward to him taking his chance in this vacuum, because unlike Darmian and MDS, he has a genuine offensive quality to his game that could give him extra edge.

Fabio Paratici has contacted Valencia sporting director Pablo Longoria, who used to work under him as the Head of Scouting at Juventus, to explore the possibility of signing Joao Cancelo, since Inter's 35m buy-out clause has expired. #GdS

Both La Repubblica & La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juventus have put in a 80m bid for Milinkovic-Savic, which was rejected by Lazio

So it's not just GDS to have reported it. Interesting.

I always felt that Pjanic is better on the long end where as Verratti is better in the short end. Pjanic being similar to Pirlo, while Verratti is similar to Xavi.

I agree with you that Verratti overall passing is better, but Pjanic's top pass is out of this world. Do you think Verratti can pull the kind of pass in the video below? If only Pjanic has Pirlo's mentality, he would be the best regista now.
