Agreed. Actually I always liked Benatia and think he could have succeded here with another coach than Pep. Injuries also destroyed him, he was never fully fit, but you could still see in glimpses how good he really was. I think Jupp could have made him the best.

I'm not against Pellegrini either. Would be happy if we signed him, but if we aim for CL next season, Vidal is the better choice IMO

i dont think the club will bring back Vidal but I would be thrilled if they do. Our offense is fantastic but our midfield is lacking so much. It would get soooo much better with Vidal. And even if he is 31 it does not matter. He can give 3 years to us easy. Worst comes to worst we could just use him as a DM instead of a box to box guy as he gets older.

well but in the end you are a proffesional..you are not in a pro team earning millions to find buddies. If one has to go, life goes on for the other. I dont think losing a buddy is enough to complicate your pro career if you are fine in one place.
