I'm gonna go with the simple and blunt approach here:

These 3 used to start together, all creative playmaking CMs.

These 3 start together many times.

You think they ever asked how to 2 creative technical CMs can play together and keep a straight face, in either of these two clubs?
Iniesta had hair? Can't remember that far.

Did I say that? "His price took a hit" and for a reason.
Now is the best time to shop him. We dealt with head cases before (Carlitoz, for example, considered a spent bullet by many when we got him). But in-form Veratti was second only for Modric a year ago.
I might be wrong about him, who knows?

Besides, Italy not going to the World Cup doesn't help the case of many Italian talents.

Well we're known for resurrecting careers, maybe a change of scenery will do him good.

Well, they also have a couple of more things in common – a disruptor in midfield (Rafa or Busquets, Casemiro) and, most important, a genius attacking player who should be covered at least by two defenders all night long.
You point is fair though.

Friendly reminder : This is a Max Allegri team

And both Verratti and Pjanic are players with poor disciplinary records.

Does anyone here actually think Can should be starting quality at Juventus, Bench player rotation yes, no way he should be a starter
We’re only going for Emre Can because he’s on a free and can “do a job” but to say he’ll improve our starting 11 dramatically. No. This is what we need to be doing. Now, IF we somehow manage to actually spend money on a top midfielder then this Can signing wouldn’t look so bad.
I have not been at all impressed with Matuidi. Think we should sell.

Yeah plenty of examples just look at their top 6. Do you think that is not the case?
Come on man. You very well know that they flock there because of the money first and foremost. The game style is a factor, but not an important one. Either this, or PSG (or some China clubs) plays some ungodly beautiful football.

EPL makes money because its entertaining. A lot goes into making it entertaining from the coverage to the stadiums to the atmosphere to the football style. Football style is one of those.

PSG plays attractive football and thats why people watch them. No one watches china this is government money keeping it afloat. They are buying these players to try to make it entertaining and turn heads in fact.

At the core of it, attractive football turns heads. Boring matches do not.

EPL's big advantage is that it's in the english language.

Football style is probably the last factor in relation to language, stadiums, sponsorships, and domestic GDP, etc.

Napoli and Roma played great footie for years. Serie A outscored EPL recently. No one gives a shit because the matches are played in WW2 era stadiums and filmed on VHS tapes. I live in a first world country and get Serie A on my cable. But the quality is so bad that I still stream it from my laptop.

But meanwhile, I can change to any other channel and see Harry Kane take a dump in 4K HD.

Juve are close to acquiring an Arsenal young starlet | Calciomercato.com

According to what Gazzetta dello Sport reported, Juve have secured the services of Arsenal young starlet Yunus Musah (born in 2002). The youngster currently plays for the U-16 English national team as he will likely join the Juve youth squad from next season on (or their B team). The young Arsenal midfielder had been on the bianconeri's radar for some time now as this is a nice get for the Juve youth system....

No one gives a damn about PSG attractive football without an enormous amount of money sheiks burn to buy names.
People watch EPL not because it's entertaining, but because EPL can create and sell a quality picture. EPL is a business, it's run as a business. Seria A is still operating as a pocket league for a bunch of crazy old hacks. You can make each team play Napoli (or whatever your flavor of the month is) like football, it's not going to change anything.

Juventus in for Ismaily | Football Italia

Juventus are reportedly looking at Shakhtar Donetsk’s Ismaily to replace Alex Sandro this summer.

The Bianconeri are in need of left-back reinforcements, as Kwadwo Asamoah will leave on a free transfer and Alex Sandro could be sold.

Leonardo Spinazzola will return from his loan at Atalanta, but he’s been forced to have surgery on a meniscus injury.

That could keep him out for up to six months, and Premium Sport is reporting that Juve are considering a move from Ismaily.

The 28-year-old would be available for around €7m, and provided eight assists as Shakhtar won the Ukrainian league.
Fucking waste gashhhhh

Gimme Modric's left leg and screw it onto Sturaro.
He'd still play like Sturaro given his brain still thinks like Sturaro
