United agree £80m Milinkovic-Savic deal?
By Football Italia staff

Manchester United are reported to have agreed an £80m deal to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.

The 23-year-old has scored 13 times and claimed nine assists in 45 appearances during what has been a highly impressive season with the Biancocelesti.

The midfielder’s form has seen him linked with a host of leading clubs around Europe, with Old Trafford boss Jose Mourinho a known admirer of his all-action performances.

And this morning’s edition of The Sun claims the Serb is all set to head to Manchester after a breakthrough in talks with the Red Devils.

Although it is said United were initially 'reluctant’ to pay Lazio’s asking price for Milinkovic-Savic, they have now accepted they must do so in order to beat off competition from their rivals for the player’s signature.

Milinkovic-Savic, who has been at Lazio for three seasons since joining from Genk, is said to be keen to link up with international teammate Nemaja Matic in the United midfield.

It is also thought that Mateja Kezman, who played under Mourinho while the duo were at Chelsea and is now Milinkovic-Savic’s agent, was instrumental in brokering the deal.

Should the transfer go through, it would be the second-highest fee ever paid for a player by a Premier League club – after the £89m United spent on Paul Pogba in 2016.

I would not bother taking The Sun seriously. A lot of English papers are known of making up stories and this looks like one of them.

Anyways, some people on Vecchia Signora are pretty convinced that Allegri and Mandzukic are gone, and we have been in contact with Ancelotti since a month.

I don’t think even Allegri knows if he’s going.

Yup, and rumor has it that Allegri also informed players in the locker room that this is his last season on Juventus bench.

On the other hand some serious italian sources deny that. Like SKY and so on.

It’s been years since he’s played there.
and he never played there to begin with, before Carlo made him a world class CM. he adds what we desperately lack, someone that can carry the ball forward from the midfield under pressure. and since Allegris 433 is also a 442 hybrid, hes gonna be a LCM/LM, same as Matuidi is currently basically, just with technique

hence why i think we ought to try Bernadeschi in midfield
