We are bound to have some pleasant and unpleasant surprises.
I just hope that we get a proper CAM this time.

Max will stay, so will his formation collection, so we will have more or less the same needs.
Lots of players will leave and need to be replaced.
Asamoah,(spinazolla) Sandro(get Caldara and use less wingbacks), Licht, (Darmian) Khedira, (can) Marchisio (bonaventura), buffon (mirante), Manzdu (Pjaca)
But we really to get 2 starters, a LB and a CAM, someone good enough to replace Pjanic's role and even play among him when we can.
No need to have defensive skills, but a killer pass, the ability to link the midfield with the offence, as Pjanic does with the defense.

There might have been an agreement with Khedira that he'll be starter (hence so little playing time for Marchisio). We can't afford that next season, so he's leaving.

Juventus have an agreement with Morata's entourage & They are working to bring him back to Turin, Chelsea could accept Marotta's proposal of a 2 year-loan with option to buy in 2020. [Rai]
cheaper deal than martial which let us invest in other way more important matters

1. Keep Dybala & Sandro
2. Sell Mandku, Khedira because they want other challenges and passing their prime ~40M.
3. Sell Rugani, Sturaro, Pjaca, Mandragora and less important players ~60-70M.

4. Get a proper RB
5. Can for free
6. Martial

Depending on the Martial deal, we could have enough $ for another CM. No use in keeping players like Sturaro, Rugani who are underwhelming when playing.
So you want us to sell Rugani who might not be WC at the moment but Bonucci wasnt as well at his age.. We all liked Bonucci`s performances in his last years for us..
Sturaro is average when on form so selling him is understandble
Pjaca will not be sold as our management believe in him and honestly it would be a mistake selling him now as we can get double his present worth if he gets a good season
Mandragora is actually decent - We should at least give him a chance
Khedira is probably gone as he talked about EPL
Mandzukic is said to be interested in leaving so its understandable.

So I guess we will sell Mandzukic 20M Khedira 10M while we loan Pjaca and keep Sturaro (even if we all want him gone..) so thats 30M - Unless some investment will be made I see no real option for us to sign top players
A.Sandro was said to be leaving but now it seems he is undecided
Dybala seems to be staying.

Around 60 million euros. It is the price that Chelsea, according to today's edition of Tuttosport , would have set for the possible summer transfer of Alvaro Morata . The Blues have already identified in Edinson Cavani of Paris Saint-Germain, outgoing from the transalpine club, his heir: the figure is 'circumvented' by Juventus with an expensive and important loan of one or two years with fixed redemption. Meanwhile, Morata wants to return to Turin.

You are not wrong about Bonucci, but IMO Rugani is slower and softer and doesn't have such a high celling ability wise and mentally wise. We had a "lesser" Bonucci while we afforded to; finishing 7th and playing in Europa League. Now we're a top 5 club, expectations are higher, I feel we don't have time to train players for 2-3 years, we can't afford their mistakes.
Mandzukic and Khedira should get us more, especially with EPL possibility for Khedira, closer to 40M combined.
Pjaca remains a doubt, but whenever I saw him play, there was not a single game where he didn't fall into oppositions's box and asked for a penalty - that's eastern EU mentality, he needs to change that. He only played 260 min for freakin Schalke...not good enough for them but good enough for us??
Mandragora can't improve the team in the next 2-3 years and if he does later on, it's a 2-3% chance he actually will. Rather cash in on him now.

We don't need prospects, they don't win you CL. We need proven players or WC potential like Dybala, Pogba, otherwise we're just wasting our budget on mediocre or squad depth players.

I agree about Rugani - I mean I am not convinced by his ability
Pjaca - I think he is just a great dribbler and thats all but with one good season at Schalke we could sell him for twice his price
Mandragora I agree - You might be right about our need to change our thinking and start thinking about how we improve now and players that will definitely improve us in the future rather than just a long shot..

Another thing - Vialli says we are wrong to target Emre Can and should have gone for Rakitic - I do not agree with this as Can is free and Rakitic isnt while Rakitic never convinced me of his ability

Can for free isn't bad, now that Khedira might leave. Rakitic is a more advanced, more athletic version of Pjanic. He'll help us, but would cost quite a lot.

We also need to sign one of Politano or Verdi. We need those eclectic players with invaluable Serie A experience for depth. You can never have enough players valued at 25-30 million in your squad :baus: :touched:

Anyone that wouldn't do this deal is insane.
As long as its an option and not obligation.

Lets not gloss over the small print folks :D

Morata agrees Juve terms?
By Football Italia staff

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly agreed terms over a return to Juventus.

According to Rai Sport, the agreement was struck between Juve and Morata’s camp, with the Spaniard 'ready to take a pay cut’ to re-join the Bianconeri.

The former Real Madrid attacker currently earns €9m a season at Chelsea, while the Old Lady’s best-paid player is Gonzalo Higuain at €7.5m.

However, the broadcaster warns Chelsea may be looking to recoup somewhere close to the €66m they spent on Morata last summer.

One solution could be a two-year loan with an option to buy in 2020, similar to the deal they negotiated for Juan Cuadrado.

Morata won two Scudetti and reached a Champions League Final with Juve between 2014 and 2016, while his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge - despite yielding 15 goals - has been plagued by fitness problems.:sergio:
