to win the CL you need somebody better than Pellegrini. He might turn out great...or not.

RB...there's always Pereira. Wouldn't mind Meunier. NO TO DARMIAN.

Pereira, meunier....other average like khedira, cuadrado, benatia, desciglio, mandzukic, douglas costa.

We need world class player that would start in any other team on this planet.

It can but you have to be smart with it

Have to sign a star mid or get Can on a free?
    Plus someone like Pellegrini

Right back is a problem because there just aren't many good ones going around
    Same with left backs
    I'm open to suggestions

We have in house solutions to the centerbacks with Rugani and Caldara

Bring back Kean/Pjaca say ciao ciao to Mario

    Higuain/Kean

    Dybala/Bernie - Costa/Juan

    Can?/Khedira- Pjanic/Bentancur- Matuidi/pellegrini

    Sandro?/ MDS - Caldara/Chiello - Rugani/Benatia-???/ God knows who

    The pole /???
    Fill in the blanks lads
Midfield is still a bit sketchy but that seems realistic enough

Which midfielders are going to be sold? Maybe Sturaro. I'm willing to bet that Pjanic, Matuidi, Khedira, Bentancur and even Sturaro are still here next season. Management won't judge these players on one game, I promise you.

At the back there's an obvious decline in Buffon and Barzagli, which might sort itself out over the summer anyway. Then there is the issue with fullbacks leaving or being sold. The defensive unit might change considerably. Midfield, I'm afraid I just don't see it, and honestly it's a worry. Pjanic is quality but I put him in the same category as Dybala - talent, but mentally weak. Khedira I don't like but coaches love him so he'll stay. Marchisio is great when fit but even though he's not playing he'll stay because he's Juve. Matuidi is ideal but in a poor period, new player and will stay. Bentancur is the future. Sturaro is crap but tries very hard, so he gets a squad spot. All said and done I think we have to let two of the current midfield go, and it's not going to be Pjanic, Bentancur or Matuidi...

Can money buy success real Madrid invested so much money before becoming winning the champions league in 2014
    1. Real won it before 2014 as well..
    2. Real picked the wrong players before - Now they do it right and you can see the result...

    We need to
    1. Get some serious fullbacks
    2. Seriously bolster our central midfield with at least 2 WC CM
    3. I like Higuain but he clearly isnt fast enough in order to face teams such as Real Madrid - We need to find a great forwards as well

Best options for the summer is - We get whoever we can on free transfer (players who are at least at the same level as our players - I mean Can, Meyer, Balotelli) sell players who are at the same level - use the $ to buy WC players...

Pogba - Does he want to come back?! If he does he is welcome
SMS - Can we just get him already - We cant get anyone else who will be a better fit
Someone mentioned Nzonzi - I dont like his static play but in the imaginary fantasy that our board finally understand what we need to do Pogba and SMS need Nzonzi in order to be able to attack more..
Kane - If only we could get him...

funny how people say you need to spend but look how Real built their team. Ramos, Marcelo from the old guard, you could say Ronaldo and Benz too though they were from that huge spending summer of 2009. Varane - youngster they found. Carvajal - own youth. Navas - cheap opportunity. Kroos and Modric - market opportunity. Casemiro - youngster from Brazil. Isco - talented domestic player, still relatively cheap. Vazquez - own youth, returned after a few years of establishing himself elsewehre. Asensio and Ceballos - domestic talent. Kovacic - opportunity.

really the only time they spent big was with Ronaldo and Bale. one is the goat and the other was the best player in the EPL when they bought him, and can still recover huge amount if they sell (most likely from united this summer).

so no, you dont have to spend big to compete for the CL (@PSG @City), you have to sign the right players. Real did, and thats why they are the best

Winning breeds winning, Real Madrid have nailed it in the CL in the last 5-6 years and it has created supreme confidence.

Real Madrid's wage bill is still over €100m more than ours, that's 2-3 world class players and a better quality bench difference.

What they have done is definitely impressive with young players, but you're also adding them to a team that wasn't built in a few seasons, Real Madrid have been in a league vying with the best Barcelona era in history for a good 12 years. It also helps that the generation of Spanish players has been fantastic for some time. How can Juve do that? Real Madrid and Barcelona can buy any Spanish player they want. Italy doesn't have that talent, doesn't have the money to hold onto them, and loyalty is split between more teams.

What Real Madrid do well is balance the books well - buy high profile players of the right age, so even "flops" sell well. There is also an added prestige for the buying club from them. We buy more older players (because of budget), more useful in our league, little sell-on value.
