We can't accommodate so many attacking players
So.. What is your conclusion out of this...
I give you a hint... If we get Martial we sell... (I really hope not but its the only thing that makes sense)

Martial (Pjaca) on the left, Costa (Cuads) on the right, Dybs (Berna) behind Higs (Kean)

Jesus, that's scary.
I dont think Mandzukic will be leaving.. as for Kean I doubt he is going to come back anytime soon... I think Kean is on the course of the make or break - We loan them to Serie A teams and then either they climb the ladder until eventually being good enough for us (Marchisio and Chiellini are examples) or we sell them on.. (Ekdal Kjaer Brighi Pasquato...)

Height is mostly irrelevant for a midfielder.

Xavi, Scholes, Makelele were all manlets.
I hope you do realize that mentioning a couple of great retired midget midfielders does NOT make your statement in any case relevant lol

I can do that aswell you know? Just to name a few other great retired midfielders...
Patrick Vieira - 1.93m
Frank Rijkaard - 1.90m
Steffan Effenberg - 1.88m
Fernando Redondo - 1.86m
J.S. Veron - 1.85m
etc etc etc...

There is a thing called balance, our current tactics/characteristics demand another physical aswell as technically reliable midfielder that stands at minimum +1.84m tall to be able to efficiently compliment Pjanic&Matuidi in 4-3-3.

Basically, what we really need atm is an younger and better version of current Khedira.

Pjanic is 1.80m and Matuidi is 1.78m, they are hardly midgets. This obsession with height and size is moronic. Pjanic is a deep lying midfielder and Matuidi is a destroyer. We need an attacking playmaker who can connect our midfield with our attack.

Modric - 1.72m
Iniesta - 1.71m

They don’t have to be short, but height should not be a priority.

No we don’t. We don’t need a clumsy tall midfielder. We need a skillful ball carrier who can connect the midfield with the attach. A player like Modric.

From you Sig: Described by many vets of Juventuz.org as one of the most knowledgeable, insightful and interesting members of the community...I am always happy to impart knowledge

We were hoping you would have the answer.
Looks in a Douglas Costa mould. Can't hurt. Looks like Juventus are gunning for speedsters. Maybe our playing philosophy will be to play at pace. Counter attacks lethal and midfields stretched more than a Stormy Daniels vagina.

The obsession with height is really weird. It’s like English fans who would rather have a big powerful midfielder that runs like a headless chicken instead of a maestro on the ball.
Good thing we have a bright mind liek you to explain these things to us.
