Imaging going from MVPP in midfield to the only player capable of winning the fucking ball in our entire midfield roster being a 40 year old PSG reject, then imagine 70% of the fanbase still living in 2013 thinking we are performing miracles every Summer

I'm surprised we lasted as long as we did since deciding to get our net spend as close to zero as possible whilst letting everyone leave because they asked nicely.

If we don't do a sharp u turn in the summer we'll be looking back on this season with fondness when we end up being fucking dumped into the EL consistently

We play like Benevento against any good team that can attack positively

Goes to show the level of Serie A is still at when it's enough to win the league every season

Next season:

GK: Woz, Buffon, and whoever (it doesn't really matter).
CBs: Chiellini, Benatia, Caldara, Rugani, Barza
FBs: De Sciglio, Asamoah, Spina, Sandro (if Sandro is sold, then we must replace him with quality, and not fucking Darmian or some obscure cunt)
Mids: Can, Top Quality CM (SMS), Pjanic, Matuidi, Mandragora, Marchisio? (If we can't get SMS, go for Torreira)
Attack: Fatso, Dybala, Costa, Cuads, Berna, Pjaca, Mandzu?

I wonder what the fuck our scouts are doing. I heard we were interested in Lincoln from Flamengo, but we pulled out when we heard the price was 30 million. Well, fuck that. Those are prices these days. Either you pay 100+ million for a proven star player just short of world class, or 30 million for a young talent.

A good but realistic transfer window would be:

OUT: Asamoah, Khedira, Lichtsteiner, Sturaro

Retire: Buffon, Barzagli

IN: Spinazzola, Caldara, Barella, Torreira, Pereira

SQUAD:

GK: Szczęsny, Pinsoglio
CB: Chiellini, Benatia, Rugani, Caldara
FB: Sandro, Spinazzola, Pereira, De Sciglio
CM: Pjanic, Matuidi, Marchisio, Bentancur, Barella, Torreira
FW: Higuain, Mandzukic, Dybala, Cuadrado, Costa, Bernardeschi

Loan: Pjaca, Kean, Mandragora

Yeah, our one glaring problem is creating chances & as a result scoring goals.
:agree: Our problem is more about being able to control a game and take out the opponent.. maybe with Matuidi back we`ll have someone who can help..
Next year`s objective must be SMS
There arent many guys available for us so we have to take advantage of the situation..
as for Icardi with this current market 110M is nothing but we really dont need him..

Firest and foremost, we need to make our midfield world class. Secondly, the coach (allegri or any capable dude), needs to make sure that midfield becomes the backbone of the team and dominates as much as possible. Im talking about physical dudes able to pass the ball like zidanes on steroids. Purge the useless ones like khedira and sturaro... and see what will happen with marchisio.

After that, fix our winback problems. Keep sandro or sell him. But fox that. Let licht go and replace him with top quality, whoever it is and at the price needed.

Release barzagli and bring a required young defender.

Then decide if we keep the same attacking line, or we need to sell someone. Bring back pjaca and sort him out. Decide if we keep higuain or mandzsukic. Maybe mandz will have to make space for a younger explosive attacker who can play when higuain is in choker mode and give us counter options.

That way we will improve

Those sort of signings are reserved for top clubs unfortunately. We see ourselves as equals to Spurs with less spending power so we'll make do with some 25 year old Serie A journeymen unless we sell Dybala.

Can, Pellegrini and Politano will lead us to the promised land

:tuttosport:

At least in the coming seasons, Serie A might be exciting to us once again because we're in an actual fight for the title.

Will probably give CL games a miss, club isn't interested in winning it so why should we be.

Juventus consider Paredes FI
Juventus are reportedly interested in Zenit St Petersburg’s Leandro Paredes, but they face competition from Real Madrid.

The midfielder joined the Russian side from Roma in the summer, and has four goals and four assists so far this season.

The Bianconeri were interested in the Argentine then, and Calciomercato.com reports that they have reignited their interest.

Zenit would demand around €40m, but the real issue is the competition from Real Madrid, who would pay €35m plus Mateo Kovacic.

However, it’s not thought the former Inter man wants to move to Russia, so Juve remain in pole position, while making it clear they won’t get involved in any bidding war.

Zenit asking for 40M and Real would pay 35M+Kovacic?! Since when Kovacic is valued at 5M?!

Anyway good player which I like but we should first go for SMS and then complete our mid with whoever we think is right
