We have pretty much hit our ceiling in terms of Europe

The management don't want to take any risks with spending which is understandable as a business but fans need to stop deluding themselves thinking we are some top club

We are a tier 2 club that is happy to participate and not to conquer Europe

It will be almost an impossible job for any manager to bring a CL title here with the current business model we have

Yes lets get rid of the management that took us from seventh place finishes to 6 league titles, 3 coppas and 2 CL finals

The management that took risks on Conte and Allegri

The management spent money on risky bets like Dybala, Higuain, Costa, Berna, Morata, Pjaca

The management that has overseen revenue growth since calciopoli and finally taken us to profit

You can have your opinions but express it in a way that doesnt disrespect everything the club has done and in turn disrespect the rest of us fans

Juve to make Paredes move? | Football Italia

Juventus are being tipped to make a move for ex-Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes after the World Cup this summer.

According to Calciomercato.com, Paredes has long been on Juve’s agenda, even before his switch to Roma from Boca Juniors in 2014.

The website explains the Argentine “is already tired of Zenit St Petersburg and Russia” and has asked his representatives to “find him a new club.”

Furthermore, his agent would have already reached out to Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici, but CM warns Zenit do not need the money and are likely to demand “€45-50m” for the 23-year-old.

Real Madrid have also been linked with Paredes as a possible replacement for Toni Kroos.

You are right. Let's call it the, I don't know, hmm.. "Beppe's Wet Dream."
I sense some sarcasm in your post, but why?

If moving up the ladder is what we really want, then we have to be willing to do something about it.
Take some risks. Try something new, like not selling your key players for example. You won't succeed if you are unwilling to try something new every once in a while.

I guess you have a point there.. It is just we are Juve fans and we are accustomed to winning in Italy - We want to win in Europe and to do this we might have no choice but to spend some $
Our management are without a doubt one of the best in Europe if not the best.. but it hard to fight the greats with one hand tied behind your back...

P.S if we sell Dybala and A.Sandro (which will happen only if they ask to leave) we would have around 225M for spending while you can say we already have A.Sandro`s role covered
RB CM and AM for 225M which is 75M per player is definitely something we can do
We all want both of them staying but in the end selling both might be the best we can do and dare I say Dybala even more than A.Sandro - Despite all that I hope both stay (although we already know A.Sandro is 90% out)

We need to stop looking at external factors. It's simple; we want to win CL? We simply have to work harder than everyone else. Talent, financial means, luck and marginals etc. are all irrelevant for winners. Take a risk, work hard, profit, repeat.

If we let external factors define our success we'll be eternal losers.

Don't take offence to posts because you don't agree with them

Not everyone has the same opinions and not everyone will agree with each other

What says the club is not doing something about it? (this is not just to you btw, its to other posters with the same thoughts)

The club is still on an upwards trajectory. We have experienced a lot of growth since Andrea arrived. Sporting success, rebranding, media, investment in youth, all these things grow Juve. Everything about how the club has been run says that they are trying to 'do something about it'.

Its fair that fans want more risk for immediate results but that's not the only way forward. I don't know what the best way is, just that there is surely more than one. They are the ones who have the accounts and the numbers and know how much room we have to operate.

What is clear is that they've been successful and that every year we have a larger budget. Before we couldn't break 30m. Now we have 40m bench players and a 90m striker. The wage bill is huge.

Right now they seem like certainties but at the time we took huge risks. That 100m+ summer when were 7th place and half of Conte's team was signed (Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Matri, Pirlo, Barzagli, etc.). Making Dybala, a player that had half a season of top football, our third most expensive signing ever. Spending 90m on Higuain. Betting 25m on Pjaca from the Croatian league.

I'm sure we will see more going forward. The strategy has changed as the club has grown, I don't see why we should assume that it will not change again.
